"It is a lovely setting and the rooms are excellent. Breakfast was great and it was a beautiful start to the day to be sat with a great breakfast in our window looking over the gardens. Point for Expedia bookers: Two points to flag that weren’t obvious to me on Expedia when I booked. I chose this because it had a pool, and my disgusted love staying where there is a pool - but the pool costs €22 per adult to use in pre booked slots only, and children aren’t welcome in the pool. I understand now...

"Lovely renovated castle in close proximity to the lake (20 minutes) and old town. 5 minutes from groceries. Beds were super comfortable, and the jacuzzi bath was so great. Lots of room, and well-stocked with games and kitchen supplies. We will be back!"

"If you have a chance to stay here, absolutely do it! Inside, it's like a dream . A small, charming chateau, 5 rooms only, with a modern Spa, and a fantastic haute cuisine restaurant. It strikes a great balance between modern, well renovated style and amenities, and preserving it's heritage. Breakfast in the courtyard is small, but good. We will absolutely try to stay again, should the opportunity arise"

"We flew here from the United States for our daughter’s wedding. The property radiates historic charm, but has some modern updates, most notably the showers. Great pressure and temperature control along with space to move around. The grounds are beautiful! The reception was held adjacent to the hotel in an enclosed room that nicely accommodated the 60 guests. The staff is conscientious and friendly."

"This is a very beautiful property, but out in the middle of nowhere with no walkable restaurants . The grounds are beautiful, but very small. Was more of a location for a wedding or an event not just the casual traveler wanting a castle experience .There is a very small town walkable with a market. We ate charcuterie in our room, which was amazing this app accommodated day last-minute wine tasting, but 45 minute Uber ride to and from. now, with that said it wasn’t exactly what we expected but...
