"It was very obvious from the start that the house was newly renovated. Almost everything still had the tags on it. Absolutely nothing was plugged in, turned on or tested before I got there. There were no amenities, such as soap, dish cloths, cleaning supplies, trash bags, toilet brushes, or even bins in the bathrooms. "We came to Suffolk to do some family tree research and Orford was a great place to stay. Although there wasn't dedicated parking, there was always plenty of space in the market square. The village itself is a lovely place to stay, with plenty of places to walk and explore. The cottage was clean and comfortable, and well equipped. "

"Fantastix stay. Huw was very friendly and communicative both before and during our stay. The property has everything we needed, nice comfy beds, good kitchen area (including more utensils and other equipment than normal in rentals) and confortable sitting area. Parking is really easy, location is really quiet but close to the main road and town. "

"Perfect house for large family events, excellent kitchen space, well equipped, spacious rooms, plenty of bathrooms and space for everyone, outside space excellent, secure garden and great hot tubs. "

"We were 5 adults and a baby plus two English Pointers! Brook Farm was big enough that we didn’t feel on top of each other and there was always plenty to do. My 22 year old daughter spent most of the week in the hot tub…once you get the hang of lighting the fire it is quite straightforward, the trick is to plan ahead! We all enjoyed an evening and wet afternoon in the games barn. It’s the garden and pond that were the main attractions for me though…our dogs were in heaven and I was able to relax...
