We didn’t utilize the gym but it looked in great shape, Host was an informative and helpful host. We stayed for Monday Night Football and location was perfect to walk to the game(and save 100 in parking). I had forgotten toothpaste and toothbrush but Donovan to the rescue!! So grateful he had me covered.

Fantastic find in the D! Beautiful place, super nice owner & so close to ALL of the arenas & casinos. Park your car for free and walk everywhere. Truly a hidden gem. Definitely our favorite place to stay in Detroit.

This 1 BR Apt. in the heart of downtown Detroit was perfect. It is a gorgeous, renovated mansion that is completely dog-friendly. Donovan is the perfect host. He was super easy to communicate with and even worked with me to change my reservation when I accidentally booked the wrong room. The area is being gentrified, so there are some vacant buildings among newer builds but it is quiet, safe and easy to access. The apartment is nicer than some boutique hotels I've stayed in. It is fully furnished and even has amenities like toiletries, coffee and water. There's even a workout room that I utilized. I've never seen a VRBO host offer such amenities. My only suggestion is for Donovan to trim the overgrown bushes that impede the walkway and sidewalk to make a clear path to the entrance. I'm sure as the years progress, the driveway will be smoothed out and landscaping will take place, but that did not take away from the beauty, cleanliness and value of the property. I am planning to come back for a hockey game and this will be my go-to place to stay whenever I am in Detroit. Thank you, Donovan. You are an asset to your city and you single-handedly make me want to return to Detroit.

PERFECT location. We walked easily to Fox Theatre and dinner. Very close to all of the big venues. We couldnt find a kitchen utensil we needed and our host responded so quickly I was amazed! He provided us with everything we needed AND a bottle of wine! So nice and very generous. We will absolutely stay here again! Highly recommend!

Check in was so easy the host greeted us when we arrived and showed us where to park and the door to our apartment which made it so simple and relaxing after the drive. The kitchen facilities were vey adequate, everything we needed. We loved that we were so close to the ball park worked out perfect for us.

Detroit Gem

We stayed overnight to attend a Detroit Tigers game. We walked to the game, and around downtown afterwards. We felt safe, the place was very clean with many amenities, the check-in process was smooth. I highly recommend staying here. I hope to do so again this fall.

TIGERS GAME

We had a great time staying in the lovely 1-bed 1-bath but with two sofa couch places for the three of us fully remodeled basement of the amazing mansion under renovation. Donavan, the host, has great taste, and has created a very comfortable site very close to all three major league stadiums (baseball, football, hockey/basketball). The neighborhood is rapidly gentrifying and remodeling and very vibrant and safe. We loved a tour of the mansion and the stories about. the neighborhood and had a great time in Detroit.
