"To stay at Crusoe‘s retreat is to go back in time. I live in Hawaii and the feeling was of how it must have been at least 60 years ago. I loved the simplicity of the resort. I brought my own mask and snorkel, but they have sets you can use for free. They also have kayaks you can use for free. An authentic village is close by and one of my friends suggested bringing things like crayons and pencils. They were very grateful. "Large pool, really attractive, well attended grounds. Secluded & remote with a lovely sandy beach directly in front. Nice & quiet, but very thin walls between units so you could hear every word your neighbours said. Culture night feast & kava celebration were great. Unfortunately other meals were a bit disappointing. Long way from Nadi, but convenient distance to Suva. Excellent beach, excellent snorkelling."

"Fantastic! Large comfortable kitchen and living area. Large bedroom with a new firm mattress perfect for my bad back. I felt like I was home 5 minutes after I got there. Wonderful front deck the whole length of the house. Spent many hours out there sitting enjoying the jungle and Ocean View. The nights were quiet and peaceful. "Onsite hosts Sam and Moreen were so wonderful! We got all the inside tips about Pacific Harbor from them including beach access, where to buy fresh fish and activities in the area. Moreen made me cassava so that I could learn to cook with it and Sam brought is fresh coconuts when we were by the beautiful (and huge) landscaped pool. The kindness of the people here is what we loved about Fiji the most! The house was so comfortable and finished beautifully with hardwood flooring and interior...

Alexxis and her husband were both so amazing, so nice and welcoming and were always available to answer any questions we had before and during the trip.
