"My partner and I hoped for a peaceful getaway to hike and chose this place. As soon as we drove in, it seemed like nothing we’d quite seen. It’s walled like a park with an expansive front yard area, but it’s private. There are really cute old buildings. It was like we had the place to ourselves. "Easy access to the home and within walking distance to the quaint town of La Grange. Enjoyed the baked bread that was a pleasant surprise. Property owner was prompt in mailing back to me a bag I had left on the property. Suggestion would be to remove the area rugs in the living area if there will be a guest staying using a wheelchair for mobility. Overall, wish more homes were wheelchair accessible as our experience with the Sweet Retreat. "
