"The cottage was very cozy and had everything we needed. We were there for our daughter’s graduation from SLU, as we live several hours away in Massachusetts. Overall, it was perfect for our needs. Unfortunately, it rained and was very cold while we were there, so I can’t comment on any of the water activities. The view from the deck is lovely! We saw a small beaver and a great blue heron."

"Our family of 5 stayed for 4 nights with our golden retriever. Such a beautiful setting and very peaceful. We really enjoyed the pontoon boat and boat house. We swam in the lake every day. Highly recommend checking out the Rainbow Falls trail and Lampson Falls trail nearby. The host was very responsive and helpful. The place was clean and beds were comfy. "

"This is a very nice property with more positives than negatives.I'll put the negatives first: No curtains on windows other than in the bedrooms/bathroom. This one seems kind of odd, but there is no way to cover the windows in the kitchen, dining room, or living room (which faces the lake). This combined with slightly close neighbors means that the lights they leave on or conversations can be seen and heard. I could not get the side door to lock. This beautifully positioned property offered everything we needed in terms of the view, peacefulness, space, and overall accommodations. It was a perfect launch point for our daily trips to different parts of the lake to either chill, swim and do some fishing.
