"The house was fantastic. The drive to the house was beautiful, and there were trails to hike and swim holes in the river within a short distance. The house had plenty of space, is eclectic and fun, well decorated but livable at the same time.Nice kitchen with anything you may need. It was hot while we were there so we did not get to use the outdoor areas as much as we would have liked. There is a huge screened porch /patio that would be perfect in cooler weather. "We enjoyed being in the middle of nature, right next to a pond, that is connected to Rodemacher Lake. In the evening and night the frogs were singing their orchestra, and you wake up with birds singing. If you like this, then this is your place. If you don't like bugs, then this might be challenging. The cabin is equipped with all you need. It is a little outdated, but that fits the location."

"The location is perfect for a quick getaway. Situated right on the Cane River, it offers excellent opportunities for fishing, cooking out, or simply spending time with family and friends. We would definitely book a stay here again and recommend it to our loved ones. It also serves as an ideal base for visiting the Christmas Festival."
