However we woke to find ants all over our bed which was not acceptable. Housekeeping promptly changed the bedding but within half an hour they were back so we were moved for our second night to the Mango room. "Incredible place to stay. A remote and unspoilt location where your only company is monkeys seeing if through the trees all around you. Pool is incredible and villa interiors are sublime, though quite minimalist and thus not suitable for everyone. Staff are wonderful. Manager will bring very delicious rice and curry if you don’t want to cook for a fixed price per head which, given the restaurant prices in ahangama are v reasonable. "Auf den ersten Blick ein Luxuriöses Hotel beim genaueren betrachten leider das komplette Gegenteil. Das Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen, überall sind Schimmelflecken auf der Tapete zu finden bzw. ist diese an diversen Stellen bereits kaputt. Der Fußboden ist abgenutzt und in den Ecken ist Schimmel zu finden. Die Fenster am Gang wurden gefühlt seit monaten nicht mehr geputzt und auch die Abflüsse weißen Schimmelspuren auf. "Nice hotel and great staff. The room was comfortable and had all we needed. The wifi is great and there is a desk in the room if you need to work. Otherwise the common area is well adapted to coworking too. The food is okay, a bit pricey though (similar to European prices) and the price is displayed in USD. The surroundings were a bit missing restaurants, you would need to take a tuktuk especially at night time because it’s pretty dark. "
