"We loved this little getaway for the weekend! The hobbit house was very clean and nicely decorated. Great amenities and nice gift bag provided. The towels were soft and the beds were comfy. My kids had a lot of fun feeding the goats and taking a ride on the paddle boat. The host Dean was fantastic! I have never had a host so nice and accommodating. We plan to return to the Sasquatch Ranch! Definitely recommend. "

"This is an amazing property. The home is beautiful and sits on a quiet cove just off the main lake. The amenities were plentiful, including a new outdoor pool that we thoroughly enjoyed, games, floats, water toys and a large dock that easily accommodated our boat. The location is perfect - near restaurants and grocery stores. The host, Jenn, could not have been better. She was wonderful to work with, and we would highly recommend this home!!"

"Met some friends for a girls weekend and had an amazing time. We all loved the location and the amenities. We did not leave at all. Views of the lake are stunning. It was on a quiet section of the lake and there were no houses directly across. The screen in porch with rocking chairs were perfect for morning coffee. "Our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids) and dog stayed for a long weekend and everything was perfect! Ginny has thought of everything you need and some things handy in case you forget anything. The welcome basket and treats (even a bottle of wine!) were very appreciated. The property has a little “beach” that my kids enjoyed daily, along with the kayaks, paddle boards, hot tub, etc. We rented a boat from across the lake for a day, visited the winery down the street, and enjoyed all of the games...

"What an amazing stay! The house was super comfy and so cute. So quiet and peaceful. It was the perfect getaway from hustle and bustle. We swam in the lake both at the house and also at Gaston day area. Ate at Suka sushi and it was fantastic! The owner was extremely responsive and checked on us at arrival. The owner also recommended some antique store and I got some sweet finds. Definitely a stay again kind of place!"

We spent the first day and a half of our stay, cleaning the place. It is clear that this property has not been inspected or maintained for cleanliness in a long time. This is not the result of one careless guest. This is complete neglect.The home has cobwebs, stuck on grease, dirt buildup, bugs, and mold in multiple areas....
