"I had a great stay! The hotel was very clean and in a fantastic location, making it easy to get around. The staff were incredibly helpful, and everyone in the restaurant was especially lovely and welcoming. It was also great to have the option of on-site parking. Would definitely stay here again."

"The bathroom was dirty, clearly had not been cleaned properly in some time, there was hair all over the floor, dirt build up around the shower tray and shower itself. Windows were also very dirty. The breakfast bag is not worth it as it’s not ready to go you have to wait 10mins for the hot part!"

"The Ilfracombe is a little olde worlde but very comfortable and quiet. The beds are comfortable, the rooms clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast served in their quaint breakfast room is absolutely superb and set us up well for a long day's walking in the sea air! "

"Turned up to be told the manager was out and wouldn’t be back for half an hour at least, so we couldn’t check in. So had to sit and wait (we were supposed to be getting ready for a wedding). Manager treated us as though we were some sort of nuisance wanting to check in. So after nearly 45 min she arrived and asked for a £200 deposit… this wasn’t mentioned anywhere on the listing. "Breakfast and evening meals were fantastic. The staff were brilliant and so helpful. Better fan needed in rooms or AC would be great. If weather became bad. Only terrestrial tv channels. Boring. Sky would be a bonus."

"Very helpful staff. Food in restaurant very good. The whole place is clean and there are bouncy castles in the garden for children. They take blue light cards for food. The major disappointment is that the bar and main building shuts at 10pm promptly. Thus no more drinks even for residents and you can’t even sit in the building which is locked. Thus you either sit in the garden or go to your room. Sadly there is nowhere nearby to get a drink etc. crazy beating in kind we were there for Friday...

"There is a need to be very carefull when describing accomodation as Boutique.Hamiltons is an excellent place to stay very comfortable,clean and a tasty big British Breakfast.Boutique usually has very big towels,dressing gowns to use with the option to buy them,DVD player,fridge in the room and many more extras.Best to describe Hamiltons as Boutique style accommodation."
