"Greatly enjoyed our stay. Host was very responsive and welcoming. Bed was very comfortable and kitchen was supplied as described. Only issue was that "Cabin #2" (this is Cabin #1) was very close to us (about 50m apart?)-- and we didn't feel it was described this way. Sitting at our picnic table you could distinctly hear voices and clinky of dishes from the others. They were not being loud -- the two cabin are just very close. Definitely not the "secluded" setting we were expecting.Other than...

"Upon arrival we found dead bugs on the inside of the cottage likely from windows being left open. Septic tank was beyond full which meant the toilets backed up/flooded and flooded into the shower. Owner had a septic guy come out to empty the tank but the pipes must've been so far gone because of the full septic tank that the issues continued even after the septic tank was empty. "The cottage and property were both very nice. There were more items in the house than I expected, many appliances and cookware that were helpful in the kitchen, puzzles, cleaning products, etc."

"Great area to take the kids. There was a lot of Waters sports that the kids used such as kayaks. Water, trampolines, etc.. There is a volleyball net, but you would need to bring your own Volleyball. Sand on the beach is super nice right for kids building Sandcastles"

"The cottage is very quiet with a fantastic view of the river."

"We had a beautiful weekend at Chalet Blue. Jill is a perfect host, providing great communication before and during the trip, and had everything thoughtfully arranged for our arrival. The chalet is charming, cozy, and rustic, while also being spacious, comfy, well-stocked, and convenient. The lush natural surroundings and river-view from the deck was picturesque. The getaway was everything we could have hoped for and would love to return in the future!"

"The location of the stay is good with access to waterbody and surrounded by woods with good Fall view all the way from the nearby town. There’s room for lots of improvement for the property. The running tap water at the house is yellowish, which I believe they do not have a good filter system. Also, the property was not built complete which caused heating and power issues throughout. "Absolutely amazing stay! Amazing property & responsive hosts. We were blown away."

"Property host was quick to communicate during booking and check in process. Property manager/cleaner is right next door for any issues and to give local recommendations. Area is quiet and the layout of the house made sure all relatives had a comfortable place to sleep. Take the canoe or kayaks onto the water and explore the lake. There is a town market on Saturdays which was a bonus as well as some quick bites to eat just a few minutes away. "

"Super freindly guys at reception. They were so kind and helpful!! The area is nice and the paths are great. The house was so lovely and had everything we needed. We had some amazing sunsets!! Only wish the restaurant was open and bar was running..it was always closed so we had to make sure we were well stocked."

"Great space, Decor is very tasteful and lots of room , beautiful spacious bedrooms , 2 bathrooms , Outdoor deck with lovely decor seating and hot tub. The beach is perfect with paddleboard and swimming mat provided .Clean , everything there that we needed . Would definitely book again . Host was very receptive and answered any queries we had immediately The beach area is perfect for Adults and Children "

"Our stay was perfect and exactly as described. There was enough room for 6 guests. Kitchen and bedrooms were perfect. There were kayaks, a paddle board, canoe and more for us to use. The location was great, right on the water and close to golf courses. Would most definitely recommend! "
