"Greatly enjoyed our stay. Host was very responsive and welcoming. Bed was very comfortable and kitchen was supplied as described. Only issue was that "Cabin #2" (this is Cabin #1) was very close to us (about 50m apart?)-- and we didn't feel it was described this way. "Upon arrival we found dead bugs on the inside of the cottage likely from windows being left open. Septic tank was beyond full which meant the toilets backed up/flooded and flooded into the shower. Owner had a septic guy come out to empty the tank but the pipes must've been so far gone because of the full septic tank that the issues continued even after the septic tank was empty. "Property host was quick to communicate during booking and check in process. Property manager/cleaner is right next door for any issues and to give local recommendations. Area is quiet and the layout of the house made sure all relatives had a comfortable place to sleep. Take the canoe or kayaks onto the water and explore the lake. "We had a beautiful weekend at Chalet Blue. Jill is a perfect host, providing great communication before and during the trip, and had everything thoughtfully arranged for our arrival. "Terri was very attentive, responsive, made accommodations for us, and was available to make a minor repair the same day we reported it.The rental is exactly as expected, had everything we needed. I would say the only area that could use improvement would be the cleaning. The property would seem far more attractive if it had been cleaned more carefully inside and especially outside (the deck, outside furniture, etc.)"
