"This loft unit was roomy, clean, and attractive. The kitchen was nice but could have been better equipped (with serving bowls and mixing bowls). It would have been nice to have soap in the shower. Check in took several hours because of the complicated fob entry system. It would have been much worse if staff from the downstairs bar had not been so willing to help us. "My wife and I stayed here for our Anniversary. This place was amazing, the pictures alone don't come close to showing how beautiful and great this place truly is. When I first came upon this place it was still under construction. I sent the owner a message to keep me updated on new pictures, which they did. They were also able to accommodate a last minute family emergency. I have shared this location to friends and family and I can't wait to stay at this location again in the future! "

"This cabin is in a great location. Very quiet yet close to town - saw lots of wildlife around. The kids enjoyed kayaking on the bay and wore themselves out. The hill leading to the beach area is very steep amd unfortunately due to knee issues I wasn't able to walk down, but I watched the family from the patio"

While the house retains much of its 19th century charm, it has the modern conveniences needed for a relaxing stay. It may have been the off season, but food and meal choices were limited in Nauvoo itself. We were grateful for the items we ordered from The Apron Bake Shoppe."
