"Its a very nice compact cabin for upto 6 people. Nice private back and front proch, short walk to the local store. Good location short distance from the river. We liked to go to the small country road bridge 3 min drive or 15 min walk where access is free and less crowded. Only "better if" comment would be the internal soundproofing of the bedrooms... The door between living room and bedroom doesn't do much to soundproof from the TV if your teenagers decide to stay up unitl 2 am while you are...

"We enjoyed our stay at Whiskey Hill. The cabin provided a nice option to get away, instead of being stuck in a hotel. It is right off the highway, but has lots of trees around it, providing a country feel. We will definitely be coming back !"

Our only surprise was our scorpion friends inside the house the first night. After relocating them outside, we didn’t see them again.
