"This is the ultimate location for relaxation. The babbling brook was beautifully landscaped and so relaxing to listen to while sitting on the porch. The hot tub has some great jets!! We are already planning our visit for next year. Great hosts!"

"Everything was exactly as listed. The property is well taken care of and was very clean and the owner's were great! The only improvement that can be suggested is upgrading the mattress. However, this was our second stay and we will be back again! The views are beautiful and the lake is a quick 15 min drive away. This has been our favorite place to stay in Raystown so far and we hope to make this little cabin our regular stay for quick getaways with our fur-babies."

"Perfect getaway spot for all weather!We had to stay indoors due to chilly rain all weekend, but there was plenty to do!4 thrift stores nearby and lovely dining opportunities.There was plenty to do at the house as well, video games, pool table, and hot tub were all a big hit."

"The cabin was nice. The bathhouse required us to get in the car as it was a not near by. Be sure to bring a top sheet and blankets for the beds. Thankfully we had some with us. Overall it met our needs. "

The drive is only 30 minutes to campus and was affordable compared to the prices the hotel chains were charging.The positives:- Would stay here again even with the negatives outlined below- Very quiet- Property is owned by Amish and kept very clean- All the amenities you’ll need for a short or long stay- Plenty of space for a couple, family, or a few friends- Felt safe- Property Manager was helpful trying to find the place and...

"We had a wonderful experience at this beautiful home. The setting is amazing. The hosts were extremely helpful before and during our stay. When there was a minor issue with the house during our stay, there was someone on site within the hour. You won't be disappointed with the house, the views, or the hosts. 5 stars all the way!"

"We took a group of high school students for a fly fishing trip. The property was perfect for the group. They fished on the pond, played soccer, made s’mores, and played ghost in the graveyard. We would come back!"

"I celebrated 40 years since my Penn State graduation with my senior college roommate at this cabin just a couple miles from Poe Valley State Park. It was a nice peaceful setting near a small stream. The cabin had everything we wanted. Liked the screened-in porch and the recliners (we're getting old). You do need to drive a few miles of dirt roads to get to this area, but the cabin is along a paved road near a small village of cabins just outside the state parks of Poe Valley and Poe Paddy. ...
