"We were at the Avon Inn for a very brief overnight stay, motivated by history behind the institution. As the sole remaining hotel from Avon's history as a destination for its springs, it is still the center of a lovely small town. Service was friendly and efficient and we would have been glad to spend another day or two there."

"The room was very clean. It was right off the road so there was the noise of traffic. It also is right above the restaurant outdoor dining/bar area and it looks like there is live music there often so that may be unappealing for people looking for a quiet lake getaway. There is an excellent restaurant on site with beach front tables and a marina. It looks like it gets very busy there on weekends with boat traffic and tourists. No central office so check-in was at the bar. Overall a very nice...

"The view was amazing, however, the cabin was very rustic—one step above tent camping. Floor littered with dead bugs, hanging dirty dishes. Basic bathroom accommodations quite a distance away. The horses were beautiful and trail-ride was great. The trail included a varied terrain. Loved the incorporation of yoga"

"The kitchen is equipped for basic cooking. The lighting could be improved throughout the house. With 6 bedrooms, there is plenty of seating for dining-note the two tables are in separate rooms. The furniture throughout is adequate. Plenty of seating in the LR and porch areas. The house was clean - if you have high expectations please remember this is a house in a rural & forested area, there will be spiders. We only saw a few. The location is really cool - very quiet, lots of stars. nearest...
