"The dome and surrounding areas looks like it does in the photos, and using the compost toilet, shower, etc were pretty easy even for a camping novice like myself. The farm is beautiful and quiet. Good opportunities for birding too. I never saw or heard the gentlemen who live in the farmhouse, I only saw their cars come and go. I came here for rest and a connection to nature, and that’s what I got. I’d love to come back in the future! I think it would be even nicer later in the spring."

"Beautiful location in the middle of Elk Neck State Park. We slept comfortably and enjoyed our stay. Heads up for travelers (esp city folk!) with small children, don’t forget the tick repellent. We found one on our son who had played in the yard for a short time. "

"Nice property with amazing views. Celebrated college graduation with family. Young ones had fun looking at ducks. Plenty of room for a large group."

"Very nice stay for us. Clean bright space. Loved the accommodation of each room with their own lock, desk, fridge and tv. Shower, no bath but otherwise prefect for our family. Felt secure with the cameras in front and back. Was thankful for this space so close to my grandmother. "

"Overall our stay was very good. The check in process and communication with the property Manager were great. There were plenty of towels, sheets and accessories throughout the home. Having everything labeled was a nice touch. The property is a great size, in a secluded area, and all of us had plenty of room. The lower level setup was incredible.The overall layout of the house was the only area that was a challenge. 2 of the 5 bathrooms are in the master bedroom and one is in the lower...

"We loved our stay here! I would absolutely recommend this place. We brought our two pups who felt right at home. The pictures don't do the house justice! It's much bigger than it looks in the pictures, which was a plus for us. The aesthetics are so cute but simple. Yes, the driveway lol. I'd say out of everything, that was the worst. But we, too, live on a very busy road and so it was nothing new to us."

"The Walton House is a great place to stay. Plenty of space with 2 1/2 baths and multiple bedrooms, and in a great location. It seems like everything in the house is high-end, especially in the kitchen. The hosts provided all the amenities (including provisions in the kitchen, paper products, etc.) that we could have asked for. Would certainly stay here again if back in the area."
