When we check in to the property we notice that there was water movement underneath the floor. in looking for the source we found that the water heater may have flooded the area of the master bedroom and the living room where it was located at. the mander sent the maintenance person over and he was reassuring that they will find us a place to stay in the area comparable to what we booked. I asked if we could stay and go to diner athe water heater was small I figured they would fix it and by the time we got back from diner it will be ok. But the answer was no and we can't find you anything but we can give you a full refunded and here are a list of dirente places you can book on your own and goodluck we clearly didn't mean for this to happen but we can't help you have a nice day. long story short we drove the 7 hours back home at 3:45 in the morning.

The location is what sells this property. I only have two small complaints-the elevator took forever (they were working on one of three) and the bedding a a little to be desired. Terrible pillows and scratchy bedding.

Wonderful Condon with beautiful ocean views. Has everything you need. The washer and dryer in the unit was so nice to have. The complex is great and has so many amenities.

The unit was super comfortable for us. Convenient to use the amenities of the exercise room, multiple pools, hot tub, and places to soak up some sun. Best of all - the clean, white sand beach and clear, emerald ocean.

Great condo and location. TV had trouble connecting to internet most nights though. Also, the rug under the table is raised on the corner and caused multiple trips.

Overall, its was a nice place in a great location in a different place than we usually stay in Destin. The unit itself is nice & it had everything we could need. Its a high rise, so pros are a great view from balcony. Cons are lots of people…long wait for an elevator, no luggage carts, poor security, and lack of parking. The pools and snack shops were fun (but, no shade & get there early to grab a seat). There was a safety issue by the pool after some teenage boys kept hitting people with a football while throwing it from one end of the deck across the pool to the other. Someone called security, but the guard did nothing and actually ignored the people that had complained and/or been hurt (one being an elderly man who was hit in the back/neck). The teenage boys were extremely rude and conformational to kids and their parents by the pool. Several people left after the incident. The price was great for a last minute weekend trip though, so we’d give it another try. The management company was VERY communicative (via email and one-way text)…got a welcome and prepare for departure text within about 12 hours of each other (we were there 2 nights). They granted us an extra hour to check out, but forgot to tell housekeeping so they started knocking to get us out of our room an hour early. All can be worked out on communication though.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Pelican Beach Resort. We will be booking this annually. The master suite was extremely comfortable, plenty of towels, very clean kitchen & living space. The resort itself was a blast with plenty of things for everyone!
