Fabulous view and condo

When we walked into the condo the view was the first thing we saw and that was spectacular. The condo was also amazing. We had 6 adults and 2 children, 18 mo. and 4. The beds were comfortable and there was enough furniture for all of us to sit at the same time. In-unit washer and dryer were very helpful. Beach access was close and easy. With our condo we did receive one free activity per day for one person through Explorie. We did use this for golf but apparently the parasailing we booked didn't qualify. We thought that all the activities listed were part of the 1 free per day program, so if you take advantage of this offer make sure the activity actually says, "1st one free." For our purposes, we would rather have had the option to reserve chairs each day. Chair rental, available by 3rd party, was $60 per day for one set of chairs and an umbrella. Check in was a bit confusing. We were supposed to use the service elevator to go to our room and use the door code. We were actually given access early, @1:00 instead of having to wait til 4 but finding the correct elevator to access the room was a bit tricky. We had to call the management company to have them help us locate it. Some more direction in the information would have been helpful. The information I was sent indicated the private elevator could only hold 400 lbs. but the signage in the elevator indicated 2500 lbs. Other than the check in confusion, we had a great stay in an amazing condo.

Silver Shells Getaway

This is our third time staying at Silver Shells -- it's always consistent and we have little to no complaints. The communication leading up to our vacation is always concise and helpful with step-by-step instructions for check-in and out. We also appreciate condos that feature two bedrooms with king beds!

Girls Trip

The condo was beautiful and had awesome views. The beach was amazing we felt like we were in the Caribbean. A couple of recommendations would be to have a hair dryer and also beach towels. Had a great time and would definitely recommend the condo.

A little disappointed

We have stayed in this unit before and had a fabulous experience, however, this trip had a few hiccups. We had key fobs that didn’t work leaving family members without a way to get in at numerous times during the trip. In order to get them replaced, we had to schedule an appointment due to the holiday week which we didn’t have time for. The unit got extremely warm later in the day which took a good amount of time to cool down. And for some reason our fridge froze pretty much all our food. We did not adjust any settings! We also didn’t enjoy sitting on our porch every morning and smelling weed but I know the property manager of our unit had no control over that! Overall the unit itself is great and understand that things happen….

Perfection

Beautiful condo, we saw dolphins every morning from the balcony. Kitchen well stocked and everything was very clean! Convenient location to Publix & Walmart for groceries & necessities. We loved our stay! Only criticism is please include beach chairs like the other units do, they are such a big expense on top of the rental. And some games in the condo would be nice. Otherwise it was perfection!

Room was great, as well as the location. Pool and beach were excellent. Check-in was chaotic. Seemed like we had to figure out everything on our own about the rental. Would have been nice to have a person meet us and walk through like most other VRBO properties I've stayed.

Beach vacation

The property is beautiful!! The ocean view is awesome! I loved sitting on the deck in the morning (& evening) reading, listening to the ocean. The sand on the beach is really fine. The elevator into the room was really nice too. There was nothing I didn’t like about this place.

A great property with minor flaws

We spent a week with our adult children and grandchildren. Overall the experience was positive with a few minor annoyances. The condo was more than suitable with beautiful views of the beach. The beach itself was secluded and well maintained. The property is near everything and very convenient. The minor annoyances were a dishwasher that was broken requiring us to hand wash dishes from our arrival on Saturday until it was finally replaced on Thursday. Slow draining water that stood in tubs until maintenance snaked the drains. And broken glass left on our balcony from a previous tenant. The management company was responsive to these issues.

Beautiful and comfortable!

We had a wonderful time. Had some trouble checking in. It was a little confusing about the elevators and also someone was parked in our spot when we arrived.
