The hosts were very responsive, accommodating and most pleasant to deal with. The cottage was also very cute, beautifully decorated and had an outstanding backyard, complete with games ... even a putting green!

Walking Distance to Downtown

Overall this is a nice place and we enjoyed our stay. We even enjoyed the backyard and cornhole game. The biggest drawback is the neighborhood but it was close to the activities on Atlantic. Although we didn’t use it, the optional free transportation is a plus. The host was very responsive to anything we needed.

House, host, amenities 5*, neighborhood in transition 4*

We were in Delray Beach to see friends and play tennis and attend the Delray Beach Open and Mary's cottage was the perfect size and super clean and had all kinds of amenities as promised (beach towels, beach chairs, kitchen well equipped). The host was super responsive when we had questions before and during our stay. The cottage is very conveniently located to walk to the Delray Beach Open and one could also walk to Atlantic Avenue's more busy restaurant strip (and avoid dealing with parking). And while a bit far (but possible) to walk (1.5 miles) the beach was easy to get to and find parking at the beginning of the day and end of the day. The only reason I'm giving the cottage a 4* review is that for three women traveling together, none of us felt safe walking back from Atlantic Avenue restaurants or the Delray Beach Open at night. During the day it felt totally fine. But once it got dark, only the first block from Atlantic Avenue toward the cottage is well lit, after that the next 1.5 blocks are poorly lit and there are empty lots next to and across from the house and a boarded up house across the street. If we were just driving everywhere day and night I don't think this would have been an issue, but since we're walkers it did influence how we felt about the cottage.

A perfect escape

Mary's Cottage was perfect. It is well appointed and very clean. Having the backyard to spend time with family was perfect. The neighborhood is very quiet and the people are very friendly. Chris was quick to respond to my messages and he took great care of us. I would definitely go back. Highly recommend!!

Loved our stay!

The house and yard were perfect for our family of 4 for our ten-day stay. Kids stayed in bedroom with two twin beds. Wife and I stayed on the queen. There were a few minor issues (leak under kitchen sink, door keypad not working one morning), and Chris was very quick to respond, come on over, and fix the issues, and even gave us a Starbucks gift card for the hassle. Great owner. Great rental. We'd love to come back! Thank you!

Mary’s Cottage was perfect

Cottage was a perfect place for us to cook unwind and connect while moving our daughter into her new apartment in Del Ray! Beautifully designed and decorated space, The owners thought of everything from welcome beverages, plenty or towels and a great backyard space for my little one to get his wiggles out while we sat and relaxed. Location was great for both beach and shopping access!

Peaceful place

Not all trips are for pleasure - this trip was necessary for medical reasons, but the quiet, comfortable house was perfect for recovery. Close to everything we needed, loved hearing the roosters in the morning. Peaceful and convenient.

Renovated Immaculate Property Near Beach

The property was recently renovated and immaculate with a beautiful fenced in backyard with a mango tree! We enjoyed picking fresh mango for breakfast and grillling out for dinner. The property is a short drive to shopping, restaurants and the beach.

Excellent cottage and service

We really enjoyed this fully appointed, modern and clean cottage. Very comfortable with two bedrooms, kitchen and living room to kick back in. Short walk to the Atlantic Avenue / Swinton street dining and entertainment.

Cute place with lots of extras

We only stayed a short time, but it was a great stay! We especially loved all the extra amenities that the host provided including snacks, coffee, and bottled water. Although we didn’t use them, we were also surprised to see the host providing many beach items, such as a cooler, beach, chairs, and towels. The private backyard was also a plus that we enjoyed in the morning before setting out for the day. Chris, the host, was very communicative about checking in and check it out. We didn’t need to contact him for anything else during our stay as everything was provided for and went smoothly. We definitely recommend this place for small families.

Terrific spot for family.

Nice, newly renovated property just off DelRay strip. Nice backyard with cabana and putting green. Easy parking for 2 cars. Very clean an modern, well stocked with kitchen items and BBQ. Chris was great to deal with and very helpful on dates. Highly recommend.
