Rockhouse hillside retreat

  • Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. This 2 bed 2 bath has close access to Buffalo Mtn trail system. It is located a mile and a half from the Hatfield McCoy trail 14. We offer a full stocked kitchen and bathroom. One bedroom has 2 queen beds. The other offers one king bed. There is a twin size trundle bed that sleeps 2. We also offer a queen size air mattress for more than 8 guest staying. Recently added to our town is the Local Goat Outfitters Delbarton Welcome Center. Here they offer SXS rentals, accessories and parts. You can also purchase trail passes, shop for souvenirs, and other merchandise . Come visit Rockhouse Hillside Retreat and enjoy a peaceful mountain view.

Driveway and parking is tight for big trailers, (we had a 24' and 30') but managed to get everything turned around and positioned. Other than that very clean and well setup and a great host, the pups definitely love the attention so bring treats lol

Everything you need is there the place was very clean and roomy for 7 of us. Nice little fire put out back that the kids roasted marshmallows on to make smores. There was a grill out back also but we did not use since we had a portable Blackstone.When we plan to go back to that part of the trail system I would definitely rent this one again.

Great place!! Clean, has everything you need, roomy, quiet and good location, we rode the Buffalo mountain, Devils Anse, Rockhouse and Braveheart trails. Pack of stray dogs was entertaining, wanted to take them home with us! Great little drive in restaurant in town, wouldn’t let me say the name on here, but had the best slaw dog I’ve ever had and milkshake! We will definitely stay here again!!

Super sweet cabin!

We so absolutely enjoyed staying in this cozy cabin. It’s the perfect size, clean and organized and not too far from town!

Stayed to ride ATV (SxS) Trails

Was a clean and comfortable place to stay and ride SxSs.The only thing to watch for is I wouldn't suggest taking a trailer longer than 20', it's just super tight to turn around in. Great place to stay!

This place was perfect! Close to trails, restaurants, etc. The house was very clean and cozy and had everything we needed and more. Lynn was very accommodating & answered immediately when we couldn’t get service to access the door code. Highly recommend this property, would definitely stay again!

Quiet & Relaxing

After long days out on the SXSs it was nice to come back to a peaceful place with privacy. The front porch is covered which is nice when its raining. Everything was clean and cozy.

Rock House Retreat

The Rock House Retreat was a great place to stay while we visited the HM trails. Lynn made it easy to check in, the house was clean when we arrived and the stay was very comfortable. It was also close to Delbarton, so we got to know the locals who were very kind and helpful, it's also close to trail 14 Trail Head which is nice and convenient.

Cute and CLEAN!

The pictures do not do this place justice! It is cute as can be with an awesome location right off the HM trails. If you are considering visiting the area, do yourself a favor and book Lynn’s place, you won’t regret it!

Lynn’s cabin is absolutely gorgeous. Very clean and perfect location. She was very kind and answered all of our questions and was very accommodating. Thank you Lynn!

Mrs. Lynn has a beautiful home that is in the perfect location for My family to enjoy riding the Hatfield and McCoy trail system we will defectively be booking with her again

Very clean and nice

Property was great for our group of 8 guys. The cabin was very clean and ample parking for our 3 trucks and a 17' trailer. Nice to have all the amenities, covered porch, fire pit with wood and a nice grill to cook. Highly recommend this place and will keep this on our list for future stays.

The Perfect Getaway

We planned a trip for Thanksgiving weekend. The experience was top notch- very clean. The property manager was extremely helpful; she provided excellent communication even with our arrival on Thanksgiving day. We would recommend staying at this establishment.
