The room was clean and s decent place to sleep. The staff were friendly, and one thing I've learned to do is ask about local restaurants. They were friendly and helpful in thiz regard. Its is hot, and summer, and the pool is out of commission. The property gets s big X, and i will be passing that along to anyone who asks. The workout room had a couple work out machines stored in it. It was not welcoming. It costs you almost nothing more than a bit of time to setup that room to be a decent place. The breakfast was disappointing. You had biscuits and sludge(possibly gravy--it was grey and not attractive looking), pancakes, cereal, bread, coffee and tea. Juice would have been good. I prefer eggs to biscuits and gravy, but that is traveling. While the good choice was not my preference, i did see one person eat it. So it likely was acceptable. Juice should have been there. I had some in the room, and went thirsty gor a bit.

There were little beads on the floor in the room. The bed sheets were too large for the bed. The refridgerator had food that dated 8 days from cold cuts that was left in it. The staff was friendly and top notch. I generally leave a tip for the room cleaner but decided they didn't do anything to deserve one.

When we arrived the front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. We found our room clean, the temperature great and the beds comfortable. All seemed very family friendly. However, in the morning we realized that there was only 1 bath towel, 3 hand towels and 2 wash cloths for 4 people. My husband went to get more towels and found no one there, twice. Finally, a 3rd time he found someone but she said they were out of towels and that we would have to wash and dry the one we had if we wanted a clean one. What?! At breakfast, which was pure carbs (nothing gf), I asked another lady if she had towels in her room (she was with her family of 5) and she said they had only 2 pool towels and her TV didn’t work. It’s a good thing our daughter wasn’t traveling with us because she can’t eat gluten or dairy and there was NOTHING that didn’t have one or the other. What could’ve been a great review got ruined with the lack of towels and a poor breakfast variety.

Room wasn't very clean, pubes all over in the shower/tub area, cigarette burn on blankets, stained towels. Breakfast was okay for what it was...and it wasn't much...waffle, cereal, hard ass biscuits and bland gravy.

so the check in was ok, the lady was ok, not overly friendly or talkative. She was having a coughing attack, asked if she was ok, she said fine. The hotel is old, carpet. worn out, no elevator so you have to go up a flight of steps, it's a huge hotel so be prepared to walk, the sheets are old, two worn out blankets on the beds, one had a hole in it. the bathroom could have been vacuumed or swept better. the room smelled of being old, the AC was awesome, worked well. Breakfast is sub par, no Juice at all, only coffee and a water cooler in lobby. they had waffles, biscuits and gravy, toast, bagels, cereal, milk. No fruit, no yogurt etc..............Some guests were loud coming in at night probably from the same Rock the Country concert we went to, but they did finally settle down at 1:30am

Staff were excellent. Went downhill after that. Biscuits and sausage gravy is the only hot item served every day (and won't change according to staff). You can however make a waffle. No juice, no fresh fruit and there won't ever be under this new owner. Pool not operable and we there in July. Our room had places where plaster had fallen off ceiling. The outside hallways had some frayed carpet seams. Overall this place needs some TLC.

It was great for the price especially since such a huge event was happening that weekend. Beds kinda small but the covers was sooo thin. A sheet and basically a curtain but if u don't like thick covers this was perfect and cozy The pool was covered up so that sucks , no elevator but still people/ staff was super friendly!

Booked our room in January, and paid for it, for a trip in July. Got there had no reservations. Donna the assistant manager was the rudest person I have ever dealt with. She informed me she had a room for Thursday night but no rooms for the remainder of the weekend. She told me I would have to pay again for the one night, double the price of my original reservation. She repeatedly answered personal calls on her cellphone, refused to look at my reservation #, or bank statement showing I had paid in full. After almost 4 hours of arguing with her and Expedia I reluctantly booked the room for that night. Paid again. We went to the room, that was supposed to be in a nonsmoking hotel to open the door and be hit with smoke smell so strong I choked. Please know I am a smoker! I then proceeded to check the beds, lifted the sheets and mattresses were covered with bed bugs. Immediately went to front desk, told her and said we were not staying and to refund my credit card. She argued and told me she would have to speak with owner first. After arguing with her, finding the owner and speaking to him( he was also horrible) she finally refunded my money. The next morning I checked my account and the refund was there but donna had them charged my card again at 2:00 am. 4 hours after the 1st charge and refund. Still fighting to get that charge reversed. Oh in addition the day before we were to check in I was notified their pool was closed for repairs, got a notification but no reservations!?!!

The television’s picture wasn’t clear and it would not turn on to a channel. You had to choose the TV choice each time. The rug was torn outside the bathroom. The beds were uncomfortable and the pillows were so small, two pillows were like one was normally. The breakfast was the same each morning with not any variation or fruit. All carbs for breakfast. No elevator to the second floor so you had to carry your luggage up a long flight of stairs. The entire experience was mediocre at best. The only highlight was the receptionist on the 3-11 shift. She was very personable and accommodating.

The room would have been a winner if not for the bathrooms filthy bathmat, it was never removed to clean had black mold on the edges and filthy black underneath. Shower curtain was old and torn. Updated shower head needed for water flow. Breakfast was not good at all no variety, no juice, coffee, plain milk, and tea bags only. Same breakfast both days gravy and biscuits. No coffee in room and no room cleaning, trash bags changed or towels brought for second day of stay.

Upon arrival, there was one person already checking in. I am newly disabled, so just getting from the Uber to the desk was a challenge. Donna, the person working the desk did nothing but complain to someone on the phone about being tired.As she was finishing checking in the man ahead of me, another person walked up. It was immediately obvious she and Donna have some relationship, and Donna could barely help me with my check in because they were chatting. I had booked an accessibility room to be able to safely navigate the bathroom, and at check-in I was told there were none available. At the end of my booking, I added 2 nights, then needed to add one more due to some medical issues I called the desk on Wed June 17. I was told by a very friendly and helpful gentleman that there was NO problem. On Thur morning, housekeeping came and said we had to leave because there were no rooms in the whole motel available. I got online and checked with y'all and it showed that, there was availability. I called the desk, Donna was very snappy & rude that there was no room. I double checked, and saw that the room I had seen on your site was for June 25, so I figured that is why there was a difference in the info. I went back in & put June 17 is & it still showed available, so I called the desk & Donna still insisted there was no room available, period.I messaged y'all to be sure I would not be charged for the room on 6/17 and 6/25 & I see I was charged for last night. I need that removed.

Good hotel if youre just going to sleep. Rooms were pretty outdated, A/C was loud. Sheets and blankets had some stains. Otherwise it was a great stay. Staff was quiet but helpful.

Despite the staff being pleasant and courteous, they failed to honor my original room reservation and offered no compensation for the inconvenience. I was instead placed in one of their so-called "Newly Upgraded Suites," which featured a stovetop and sink accessible directly from the bed. The inclusion of a stovetop was particularly puzzling, as the room lacked even a basic dining table. Additionally, the room's condition was concerning — carpet had been affixed to the walls in place of baseboards, and in several areas it had already come loose and was left hanging or lying on the floor. The property would greatly benefit from better-maintained rooms and a wider variety of single-bed options. When I raised these concerns with the front desk, I was simply told that my originally booked room type was unavailable and that my current room was "actually more expensive." While that may be the case, an upgrade loses its value when it offers amenities that are entirely impractical and unsuitable for the stay.
