    Perfect retreat for the summer or winter whether it's with your family or friends. Fire pit next to the lake with a huge backyard, Children are welcome, Beautiful beaches nearby and great restaurants. Peaceful Conference. Board retreats. 20 Minute drive to Lake Geneva.

    Located on the quiet inlet of Lake Delavan, this (5) bedroom (3) bathroom home captures the beauty and serenity of Southeastern Wisconsin, making it the perfect vacation retreat for summer. Complete with the essential comforts of home, guests will enjoy beautiful hardwood flooring throughout, as well as, new kitchen appliances, beautiful furnishings in the living room and sleeping areas, a private pier, and cable TV and wireless internet service for those guests needing to stay connected while away from home or work.

    Enjoy the sunshine and warm weather from either of the two furnished decks located off of the Master suite and entire first floor. Hop in your personal watercraft, or rent one from the boat rental next door, and spend a relaxing day out on the water while you view the sunset. Feel free to park your boat at the dock after you've tired out from all the fun.

    We don't recommend swimming close in to the property because the water is murky and shallow, but not too far out from the dock is perfect for swimming. There are also beaches nearby for the kids!

The only hiccup on the whole stay was Keurig was broke but other than place was perfect, big and the AC worked awesome for everyone. Plan is too rent again for next family gathering.

Awesome property!

This house was just perfect! Stayed here with some friends for a weekend and everyone enjoyed it! The house was well stocked with everything you would need. Plenty of beds for everyone and we loved the nice open floorplan! We will most definitely be coming back again. Thanks Carey!

Family gathering to celebrate birthday & Fathers Day

This lakehouse is perfect for a family gathering. Very spacious, beautiful outdoor space for playing games in the yard, sitting on the dock watching boats go by, fishing and barbecuing. I helped my 2-year old grandson catch his first fish off the dock and flew kites with my granddaughter on a breezy day. The view is relaxing and the entire community is quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend this as a destination for families!

We were pleased with the property overall. I felt there were a few improvements that could be made. The porch windows did not look like they had been cleaned all summer. The porch also needed to be swept and cobwebs removed. This did not deter the enjoyment of the property but it might have just made a more welcoming first impression. The amenities were very adequate for our entire 10 guests. The patio tables were very inviting and we loved the bench at the end of the pier! Very relaxing! We had a wonderful three days and hope to return again next year!

Great alternative to Lake Geneva

Spacious home with 5 bedrooms & 3 full baths. Lovely open concept main floor for gathering. Only disappointment was the lake itself. Full of green scum that we would never have swum in had it been warmer. Perhaps this is end of the year algae??

Weekend reunion

We had a group of friends stay at the house for the weekend. We had a great time cooking out on the grill and cooking breakfast in the kitchen. We used the pier for a ski boat and enjoyed skiing on the lake. One night we visited a bar that’s in walking distance from the house, and we had lunch at pier 290 in lake Geneva (~5-10 minute drive). We enjoyed sitting around the fire at the fire pit in the evenings. The house was well equipped to sleep our group of 8. The kitchen had pots, pans, plates, cups, etc for grilling and cooking. We had a great weekend, thank you!

Inside and out, this property has huge and high quality common space, highlighted by the nice sized yard on the water, with wonderful views and just a great summer feel. In addition, the owner was communicative and really committed to ensuring our group was 100% satisfied. Which we were!

Our family time at lake house

Our stay at this house on Lake Delevan was a wonderful weekend experience for our family of seven adults and four children! There were so many things to do such as fishing off the piers or watching birds flying around the lake. The house had plenty of things to do with games and books; also the kitchen was well stocked with utensils so we could cook for ourselves or bring in food from nearby.

Perfect Weekend

Beautiful house on a quiet inlet. Extremely well-stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Spacious lawn for games for all. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Inlet was perfect for kayaking. Our three-generation group was totally happy with the house.

GREAT HOUSE EXACTLY WHAT WE NEEDED

Carey was great to work with. Very communicative about what to expect. The layout of the house is PERFECT for hosting group of friends. Master bedroom is massive and kitchen was open, clean and had everything we needed to cook for ourselves. We also skied at Alpine which was only a 20 minute drive. This house was suited for all our needs and we had a blast! Would return 10/10!

Great for a weekend getaway with friends

A few friends and I wanted a quick weekend getaway for New Year's Eve and Carey's place was perfect. The home was exactly as described in the listing information and pictures, and Carey was very responsive to anything we needed. The kitchen was also very well appointed, which really came in handy for us making dinner together. Alpine Valley is only a short drive from the home, so a few of us were able to go ski, and those of us that didn't took the short drive into Lake Geneva to shop and eat. All in all it was a great place to stay for our group, and we wouldn't hesitate to come back!

11 days of Family Fun at the Lake

Carey's Lake House was the perfect place for a family gathering. From catching bullfrogs to watching movies while sitting around the fire, everyone made memories that will last a lifetime. There was something for everyone from age 2 weeks old to 80+ – most importantly time to get to know one another. We spent several days on the water: kayaking, canoeing, and we rented a pontoon for tubing and swimming (although pontoons could not pick-up on the inlet, we learned you can dock at Lakelawn Resort which is easily walking distance). Renting two lake houses next to each other was ideal – Carey's house (sleeps 11), Kevin's house next door (8), then we had additional family at a nearby hotel, but Carey's house served as home base for all 28 for 11 magical days!

Lakehouse review

House was very nice, kitchen, family room and view all at once! Nice technology in the house. Lots of outside chairs and a GREAT space in the back yard for games. Nice bathrooms with nice appointments, ie tiny shampoo bottles, soap, plenty of tp etc. Kitchen was nicely appointed also. Could have used more/bigger cutting boards and a toaster instead of toaster oven. In addition to regular coffee pot, there was a Keurig which would is so nice nice for hot chocolate and tea. They have a few kcups but you might want to bring more. Quiet location, Walmart under 2 miles away! Owners were great!

Great Space!

10 of us stayed here for a long weekend and had a great time. The yard if a perfect size for games and the kitchen was very spacious. Only thing to note is that swimming is actually not allowed on the property per the house rules and signs posted on the property. Carey was extremely responsive and a pleasure to work with - thank you, Carey!

Highly recommended

Six of us had a great time. The house is spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. The gas grill is very convenient and we enjoyed eating outside. We enjoyed the open floor plan, the view from the deck and walks through the neighborhood. The location is great – we rented kayaks and a canoe on Lake Geneva and enjoyed an art exhibit in Lake Geneva. We also had a great time at Lake Geneva Ziplines & Adventures.
