The location was awesome, close enough to the busy Bar Harbor and park entrances but remote enough to relax. Ian was quick to respond to any question I had. "We had a wonderful stay at Fitter House! Clean home, large backyard for kids to play, plenty of space and beds for the 7 of us in the home. 6 minute drive to Bass Harbor Head lighthouse, 5 minute drive to Archie’s Lobster, 30 minute beautiful drive to Bar Harbor, and within several hikes close by. We saw multiple deer and turkey came through the yard and up close to the house. Super quiet and relaxing!"

"Perfect! The property is well laid out inside and outside. Check in was so easy. The cabin was spotless, decorated for style and function, and makes you feel comfortable being away. I did not receive check-in instructions 24 hours before arrival, but Dwayne responded to me quickly and answered additional questions. The home had everything we needed and was very clean. "We had a lovely stay at the Gray Barn Carriage House. It was so quiet and peaceful! The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked, the bed was large and comfy, and there were plenty of reading nooks and sofas to relax on after a day on the hiking trails. We miss it already."
