"Staff were pleasant, good location."

"I was really looking forward to my stay at The Candlesticks. However as soon as I entered, I began to have my doubts. The bar area, where the owner received us, looked particularly shabby and it smelt musty. It was 3pm (an hour after checking-in should have started) and the room wasn't ready. It wasn't such a big deal, but it was another warning sign. I was in a single room, which made a certain saying about a cat spring to mind. "Basic hotel but absolutely fine. Good value for money and great location. Be aware the Room 1 is over the kitchen and their air conditioner produces loud buzzing noise in the room until late. Staff sympathetic but unable to help. "

"Upon arrival, we were greeted by our lovely hosts Chris and Tina. Chris kindly showed us to our Valentina tent for our 3 day stay. The tent was beautifully appointed and had a super comfy bed. Our separate kitchen area had a basket of goodies, which we felt was such a personal touch. The llamas were amazing, roaming freely outside our tent. Tina gave an interesting talk about them, whilst we were able to feed them. Our stay was truly lovely and the sunsets, other wildlife were just the ‘icing on...

"El hotel esta bien para una o 2 noches, cerca de la carretera y de fácil aparcamiento. Además hay muchas opciones de comida en el mismo predio. Lo recomiendo, el personal muy amable y atento. Faltaría un poco de almacenaje o estanterías para colocar la ropa, pero como dije antes es un hotel para 1 o 2 noches."

"We all loved staying at the hotel, it was clean and great relaxed atmosphere. We stayed in a suite and whilst it was lovely and big and clean a few things needed attention! Door handle on toilet door was half hanging off, toilet flush was loose and the jacuzzi bath plug never worked, so therefore the water kept emptying away. Balcony could have done with a clean too. The only other problem is the hotel does not really cater for people that are gluten free! Could not have sausages, Hash browns at...
