"Within easy driving distance of Hood River or Portland, this was a quiet getaway for a weekend to relax and refocus the mind. The house is very well-appointed, with a coffee maker that was welcome in the chilly mornings and the creek going by for the warmer afternoons (living room gets warm, so outside walk after lunch is highly recommended). I think I heard the rumble of an airplane going by, but other than that, there were only nature sounds!"

"The home was as advertised and the view was even more stunning than the listing photos. Very clean and no problem with the internet. It was easy to find and good proximity to Hood River (which has great restaurants and very nice riverside park). We went on a few scenic drives that were really beautiful. Deck furniture is great but in need of new (thicker) cushions. Really enjoyed our stay!! "

"My daughter attended an outdoor camp with a local gym. I needed a place where we could relax in the evening and I could work remotely during the day. The general location was perfect. Easily walkable to everything. It took us about a day to get used to the train traffic. Our Ford Explorer fits in the garage, but exiting the garage took a little effort (I felt like Austin Powers) but it was doable and a safe parking spot far outweighed any challenges.
