This is such a beautiful place, easily accessible and the use of a separate laundry area was very convenient. The house is very modern, comfortable beds, with all the necessities needed for your stay. Wish we would've been able to utilize the outside area but the weather didn't allow us to.

We loved our stay at Casa Maria! The place is comfortsble, tastefully decorated, and had everything we needed for a great stay. Fer and Rafa have been very thoughtful in what they provide and were so friendky and responsive. Dufinitely recommend this little gem in Carson!

The host was fabulous. The apartment was decorated very nicely! Everything worked great. The couch needs to be replaced. The cushions no longer fit and when you go to sit down you land between the cushions. Very uncomfortable. Everything else was great!

Home was super clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Neighbors are a bit loud but hosts had white noise machines and earplugs available. This did not affect the quality of our stay.

Check-in was very straightforward. The kitchen was well-stocked with most needed equipment. I might have liked to have a flat spatula. Wi-Fi access and A/C worked as promised. Somebody had a wonderful time designing and decorating this space and the interior. It is an oasis of modernity and creativity in the middle of what appears to be a rather humble little rural town. Even the laundry room was creatively decorated and designed. Anyone appreciating modern architecture and interior/exterior design would appreciate this little gem. The. creek in the back is lovely sound that helps drown out some of the traffic on the main road out front. I slept very soundly and felt safe as a single female traveler. I loved the back deck space overlooking the creek in the back yard. I wish I could’ve stayed longer. I also wish I had done more research on the area.

This was a nice place to stay while in the Carson/Stevenson area. It is laid out well and was very clean and comfortable. As described by the owner, the traffic can be a little loud sometimes. Night time wasn't an issue with the traffic.

Great layout, very comfortable and well appointed. Thought went into the details and everything was easy to find and figure out. Beds were comfortable, it was quiet for us, and A/C worked great for the warm days we had. Enjoyed sitting out on the balcony with the creek running below. Communication with owners excellent. Carson was a good jumping off point for exploring the Gorge and easy commute to events in Cascade Locks. Stevenson, the next town over, was really close and great option for a wider selection of restaurants and amenities. We would stay again!

In my 74 years of traveling I have never been to a VRBO that I would give 5 stars. The unit was fabulous with every attention to detail. From the unique appliances to air conditioning in every room. The interior was matched by a great exterior balcony overlooking a fast running creek that flowed behind the property. Bravo to the owner - great job

Gorgeous gorge

Casa Maria was an amazing place. It was cute, clean, and comfortable. The outdoor area was an added bonus. I absolutely loved sitting out on the deck listening to babbling brook down below as a read my book. I wish we were staying longer. Plus the beds were comfortable, the decor was cute, & the towels were amazing!

Fabulous Columbia Gorge stay

Carson is a cool little town and this house is right in the heart of it! It does sit by a major road that heavily traveled by loggers And sightseers, but they have a big fence in the front and they even supply bedside earplugs in in case you think you need it for sleeping! But we did not! My husband is a retired contractor and this is the first place we ever stayed where he Praised everything in the construction of the remodeling and the quality products are used! I was blown away that My husband was so impressed! The back deck was lovely by the creek and we played ping-pong and it was just wonderful all around! Rafe, the owner, is so kind and there for you!!! Everything about this place is fantastic! It’s so close to everything you might want to explore and enjoy!

Comfortable and Convenient

The property looks exactly like the pictures. Before check-in, the hosts sent a list of recommended activities, restaurants, and necessities in the area. The check-in and check out processes were by far the easiest I’ve ever dealt with. The hosts were super responsive and easy to contact if we had any questions. The beds and couches were incredibly comfortable and it fit all of our needs. I could not recommend this place enough.

Cozy and clean!
