We booked the house for our annual “sisters weekend”! The house was very comfortable for the five of us. The host responded quickly to our requests. The property was lovely, well equipped and very clean.

We had a wonderful time at The Delta Lake House. Great outdoor space. We were truly thankful that not only was it pet friendly but they accepted cats! Not always easy to find. Lake was beautiful. We really enjoyed our time there.

Had a very nice, week long stay. Home was very clean and cared for. The week we stayed was hot and the back yard patio with roof was great. The lake is very nice and enjoyed boating around in morning before most people are out. The location is nice, it’s in quiet channel and kids caught fish off the dock. The owners were quick to respond if messaged.

Before school getaway

Anabel and Anwar’s home was the ultimate lake escape—just what we needed before diving into the chaos of school and sports! The house was cozy and equipped with all the lake essentials. We especially loved having the option to rent the pontoon—it totally elevated the experience. Already dreaming of our next stay!

Amazing stay!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was super clean which is very important to me. It is so peaceful and beautiful being on the water (be on the lookout for the cute otter). The kids caught a ton of fish right off the dock (lots of bass). We rented the boat for a day as well which was really enjoyable (we actually caught a huge northern pike). We used the kayaks and lily pad every day. The town is only 5 minutes away and is super cute. Walmart is about 20 minutes away. The hosts were so helpful and responded to our questions in a timely manner. We would definitely stay here again. Absolutely wonderful!

Amazing Deck!!

We had a blast just enjoying the backyard and water!! The kayaks, lily pad, fire pit, bar and back deck were just perfect for our group on family!!! Our teens had just the best time!! Thank you for a great spot!

Nice Place

This is a nice place to stay. The only complaint we had were the front door latch needs fixed. It would lock us out sometimes and the Monkey Dog door is messed up as well. Just needs minor repairs but very clean and comfortable

Beautiful House

The house is clean, bright and spacious. The large covered patio has super comfortable furniture and a very nice gas grill. The kayaks are great quality. The lake is clean and full of bass! We enjoyed our stay very much.

Relaxing vacation

We enjoyed the location of this property. Boat was easy to use to get to the lake. Kayaks were great to use in the canals. Outside space was nice, even during some rainy days, great place to relax and read.

Quiet and Comfortable

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Our goal was to relax so most of our time was spent fishing, swimming, reading, and cooking. Everything was great. The lily pad and kayaks were perfect for my kids. The fishing was great right from the dock. The only downside is that there isn't much in town so if you want a larger grocery store or a Walmart, etc you have to travel a bit. We didn't mind but some people might. The other thing that would be an added benefit would be if the pontoon rental was at a discounted rate if you wanted it multiple days of your stay. Overall we would recommend and definitely come back.

Great lake house!

We had a small group visit for the July 4th week. The house was perfect for a great holiday week and renting the boat kept us busy out on the water. The large yard, pavilion, monkey dogs bar, and fire pit all got their use during our stay. Great place to stay.

Great house right on the water -- perfect for all ages!

We stayed at Anabels' house for a long weekend & had a ball! Our crew included myself & my husband, our three young kids (4, 6 & 8) & my parents. Everything was great -- from our initial communication & then all of the instructional PDFs (both in the home & sent via message). Anabel & her husband were easy to get ahold of & made sure we had everthing we needed -- Anuar even jumped on a quick call with us while we were on our way there to communicate some of the shallow areas of the lake & give us some local recommendations for restaurants & groceries. The house was great -- everything was clean, comfortable beds & updated baths, open kitchen/dining area & a cozy living space with all the streaming apps on the smart TV & a cute game corner (we didn't spend too much time inside -- we lucked out with great weather!)... but the outdoor space was just fantastic! The covered deck was wonderful -- lots of patio furniture so you're able to sit & relax, they have string lights up so you can be out there at night as well. Even though there were a lot of steps, it worked out great that they had railings & weren't super steep (worked out well for my little ones & my dad who's having a knee replacement in a few weeks). Great firepit area for s'mores, the we grilled out a few times (really great that they had a nice weber grill!) & the Monkey Dogs shed bar was a huge hit as well! Our kiddos ended up just swimming & playing in the channel -- my son caught dozens of bluegill right off the pier! The use of the lily pad was a big plus for my younger two, who wanted to be in the water but weren't super sure about swimming with the fish :) We also rented the boat, which was great as well. Downtown Decatur was cute -- we hit the local brewerty (Final Gravity) & also drove into Sister Lakes for lunch as well. Highly recommend Clear Water Meats if you're looking for great grilling options. Would definitely stay again -- thanks again for sharing your home with us, Anabel & Anuar!

Awesome Place!

Absolutely fantastic place! We were so happy with our stay and we would definitely stay here again. The house was just the right size for the 7 of us and all the amenities were thoroughly enjoyed by us. The house was clean and stocked with the necessities. Communication with Anabel was top notch! We highly recommend this property. The lake was clean and the fishing was great.

Great Family Fun

This was such a beautiful property with everything a vacation could ask for. We were on the Channel leading right to Lake of the Woods. A clean and gorgeous area. Everyone was so friendly. The house was perfect and clean with just about anything you need. Owners made it easy and organized with communication through our entire stay. From the soft comfy beds to the kayaks it was definitely a great adventure!! Don’t hesitate to come relax on the huge deck and build a night fire right next to the lake. Pontoon was gorgeous and made our trip even more fun!! Sunset was amazing on the boat!! Cannot wait to come again and sure hope to break our 31 fish caught in 4 days!!! We will be back!! So many memories!!

Perfect Michigan Lakehouse!

The Delta House was such a fantastic stay, the house was extremely clean and well kept, the outdoor area was beautiful. Having multiple areas to hang out outside was great during the warm weather. Anabel and Anuar were so easy to communicate with and their pontoon rental we added to the rental made everything so seamless. We’ll definitely be coming back in the future!
