"Very comfortable home nice neighborhood "

"Beautiful property and views. Stayed overnight with my Shepherd as we traveled back home on a long trip. Great open property to walk with my dog. Large basement rental with large kitchen, living room, and bedrooms. Plenty of TVs too! Being a basement rental, I could hear the family walking around upstairs so keep that in mind if it bothers you. Private gated entrance, nice patio, and private entrance to basement. Was able to see an amazing sunset over the valley and nearby mountains and then...

"Relaxing and enjoyable stay! Would definitely go back, maybe in the fall for the leavesStream behind house was my favorite spot to sit and drink coffee in the morning, wine in the afternoon. Lots to do, maybe a 30 minute drive. We fished, went to several caves & wineries. Definitely checkout the natural chimneys!!"

"The abode is located in the basement of a very nice home in a quiet neighborhood. It has a private entrance, very spacious living room and a small kitchenette. There was plenty of towels provided as well as an ironing board/iton, broom and vacuum. Since it is in the lower level of a home, you do have the noise of people above you but it was very quiet at night and in the early morning.It snowed while we were visiting and the host was so kind he cleared our walkway too. We would definitely stay...

"Really cute place! The kitchen is well-equipped, the king-sized bed is very comfy, and the hot tub on the deck was sparkling clean and SO relaxing. Lovely view of the surrounding mountains, and the location is halfway between two of the Shenandoah National Park entrance stations, so it's very convenient. One note: based on the size of the shower and the tightly-spaced upstairs bathroom, this would not be a good choice for tall visitors!"

"Our family was in town for a wedding and chose this home because the hosts allowed bigger dogs and the property had a fenced yard. We were impressed with how well they have kept up this old farmhouse. The bedrooms and closets were spacious, and the beds were comfortable."

"We had an amazing stay while visiting our daughter at JMU. Check-in and check out was a breeze. Our host Lisa was very responsive and an absolute pleasure. Lisa's horse farm was tucked away in the back of their property. It was quiet, cozy and the horses were so friendly. We walked to the river, it was beautiful! We stargazed and took pics of galaxies that are not viewable from Florida. Overall it was above 5 stars! We will be back. Thank you Lisa!!!!"

"The historic Funk home is a true gem. I love classic Victorian homes and the renovation work done to this home and the tasteful decor and cleanliness provided an impressive welcome for our stay. We were attending my brother's music festival; Fredfest, didn't get to spend much time at the house, but will try to schedule for next year to fully appreciate what the home has to offer."

"We had a nice stay at this home, it suited our group well. The layout is good for multiple sets of couples and I liked the access to resort amenities and access to restaurants and local activities. The house is located on a side road in the resort so low traffic and quiet area, good for a relaxing time."

"The Ridgeview Retreat was the perfect backdrop for our girls' getaway! The home was spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. We especially loved the serene outdoor spaces — so peaceful and relaxing. Plus, the location couldn't have been better, with great breweries and wineries just minutes away. We'd absolutely return for another laid-back and memorable vacation."

"We stayed here with our two kids (age 2 and 3) and would stay again! The apartment was incredibly clean with plenty of space and everything we needed. We sleep with white noise machines and had no issues with noise at all. Check in and parking was easy and the hosts were very responsive. "
