Our group had an overall good time. The location of the property was perfect. The rooms fit all of us. There were several things in disrepair we had to navigate. Bring extra blankets and towels as the blankets are very thin and only one towel per guest. You can request more towels which they were kind enough to provide.

Ok experience

The negatives. The house has insects but that is fine. But it also had cockroaches also. The host didn't respond to some of my messages regarding the cookware and late checkout. The positives. The location is good. The property is has 7 bedrooms and enough bathrooms good for 18 people. They replaced a stained bedsheet at late night.

Overall a great stay but a few glitches that need to be fixed. King bed in room at top of stairs is broken. Basement is so cold it is not usable. Parts of deck are hazardous. If these were fixed, we would return.

Perfect Sibling Reunion

Beautiful mountaintop vacation home was perfect for our adult sibling reunion! Deer were visible at the property daily. Plenty of space for six adult couples. Very comfortable accommodations. Beautiful home with plenty of space for all our family & friends. Hot tub, games, deck, fireplaces, easy access to the ski/snowboard resort, overall a wonderful stay! I would highly recommend this host and home, they were very easy and accessible to answer questions and the home was very updated with key features that made the weekend stay unforgettable. 100/10 star review

Retired Siblings Reunion

We had a great time in the mountains of Massanutten. We saw deer everyday on our walks. Those hills kept us in great shape! The mountain house was just as beautiful as described. The house was spacious and perfectly fit our needs. We loved the surrounding vineyards and exploring the area of the beautiful state of Virginia!

Family Vacation

Great amount of space for our family of eight adults and eight children from 9 weeks to 11 years old. Proximity to Shenandoah NP was good and access to grocery and other stores was very helpful. Enjoyed our stay!

Family Reunion

We had three locations rented to manage bedroom space, but all the reunion group gatherings were in this home and worked perfectly for all 28 of us. We had a slideshow that was displayed perfectly on the living room Roku TV using an HDMI cord from the TV to a laptop. The kitchen (well stocked with everything we needed), grill and two refrigerators were perfect for meal prep. The home and many gathering areas created lovely conversation spaces both indoors and outdoors. We identified needed repairs upon arrival (broken toilet flush handle, a lightbulb out, loose toilet paper dispenser), and after reporting it to the property manager, they were quickly fixed. Kudos to whomever was answering those text messages. The service was prompt, attentive, friendly, and effective. A few things would have helped our stay: a floorplan so we could better understand the layout to assign bedrooms early to accommodate some personal issues, and while the photo gallery depicts the home well, the steepness of the driveway and necessity of managing stairs to enter the home was tricky for some elderly family members. We recommend adding a photo of the front steps/driveway so people with mobility issues are aware. It would also be nice to have a house number at the bottom of the driveway! The home has a few minor issues that need attention, and we will send those notes to the owners, but we would rent this home again. Overall the stay was wonderful!

Great weekend getaway

We stayed for a family weekend together. It was 9 adults and three children in our party. Everything was wonderful. We notified property manager of concerns and trusted it would be addressed. Looked just like the pictures. Great location.

Our family had our yearly get together here this year and it did not disappoint. The house is huge and plenty of space to accommodate everyone. What we love about this house is that it is pet friendly! We had our 4 dogs with us and they loved it as much as we all did. We cannot wait to come back again.

Fun Long Weekend Getaway

We (6 adults and 6 kids) had the best time! The fall leaves were beginning to turn, the ride through the mountains was incredible and the house was everything it promised to be. We had more than enough rooms to accommodate everyone. The kitchen was well stocked, functional, and open. The bathrooms were nice and plentiful. It was great to have a basement space for the children to retreat to, and the hot tub and fire pit were perfect for the fall evening. In addition, the location couldn't be beat. So close to everything, but secluded enough for some peace and quiet. We would definitely stay here again and recomend it to any large group looking to get away and spend some quality time together.

Great location with Everything You Need!

This house has great space and is in a great location. Minutes to Shenandoah National Park and a short drive to JMU area with lots of great restaurants and breweries. Our extended family stayed here-all needs were met and the house provided lots of fun. The kids loved Ms. Pacman! Property was clean and amenities were as listed. Great stay!

Excellent location. Well kept clean home. We had enough room for our family and room to spare.

We were also provided links to support services and were able to book an excellent chef (Dan), who was familiar with the property and provide a delicious meal. We plan on booking this property again in 2024.
