Great Home & Great Beach

We had an absolutely fantastic stay! The house is right on the beach, making it super easy to pack a bag or cart and head down for some fun in the sun. The house had everything we could have needed: fridge w/ water & ice, extra beach chairs, app enabled TVs, plenty of seating for meals, and very clean! My father, brother, and nephew fished every day and caught something new each time. The kids (ages 10, 11, 13, and 14) had a blast on the beach, especially during low tide when the water was shallow for a long way out. It felt like we had the beach almost to ourselves, with only about 10 other people around, which was amazing! This was our first time on Daufuskie Island, so we made sure to plan ahead and bring meals and groceries. Next time, we'll bring more ready-to-bake meals to cut down on the groceries we need to bring over from Hilton Head.Daufuskie Cart and Captain Chez were absolutely wonderful and a pleasure to work with. We can't wait to come back!

Second time at this property!

We love this property so much that we came back again this year. It's perfect for our group of ten. The kitchen has everything we need to cook our meals and there is plenty of space to spread out.

No hot water for half of the house for 6 day

The property was nicely situated on the beach. Clean, but 2 of the 5 bedrooms asa well as the kitchen had no hot water. There's no one able to fix it for 6 days we were there. A guy came out the 2nd and 4th day to fix it but was unable to fix it for longer than 1 minute. Then they blamed the propane company for the problem. No one actually came out that had experience in fixing hot water heaters. I requested a partial refund for the hassle and inability to use 2 showers and kitchen sink. Never heard from them again except to offer a discount on our next stay. No way am i spending a ton of money with a company that doesn't make good on their promised 5 bedroom, 5 bath property

Family Vacation

The house was beautiful, well stocked, and perfect proximity to the beach. We had a few housekeeping and cleanliness issues that have been addressed with DRG. The manager was flexible and communicative.

Good for large groups

We had 10 people in our group and there was plenty of space. Great location and updated house. We only had two minor issues: ice maker doesn’t make much ice but you can buy some on the island and the dryer takes a long time to dry clothes or towels…not real issues just things to account for. Overall very happy with the house and would stay again if we ever come back to daufuskie.

Loved the house and the beach

House was amazing and right on the beach which was so convenient No pool ! Was falsely advertised and NOneighborhood pool But ended up working out the kids were disappointed the most Transit bus driver picked us up way to early and was kinda rude - but everyone else on the island seemed nice Food was good, relaxing was nice golf carts made it easy to travel around

Most wonderful family getaway!

Everything was spectacular. The property owners are great, communication was easy, the house was in perfect condition. Views are not to be beat and the ocean is literally across a golf cart path. This is the perfect place to stay to experience everything this remote island has to offer. Thank you for making our trip extra special!

poarches werent very clean, also lake of towels, none in the master also no tolite paper. But the towels got resolved very quickly. Housekeeping was great.
