Great country getaway or VIR trip

Welcoming comfortable country B&B. Very convenient to VIR. Hosts very friendly. Nice breakfast. Very comfortable bedroom.

Bill and Lucy are warm and hospitable. There property is one of a kind, charming, cozy while expansive. Breakfast is remarkable with Bills eggs and Lucy’s sour dough. If your in need of accommodations in southern VA, this is your place.

AMAZING!!!!

This bed and breakfast is AMAZING!! The best hosts especially Gus, beautiful room located in a beautiful home, and delicious hot breakfast served every morning. An overall welcoming, high end bed and breakfast. Everyone should stay here, it’s that amazing!!

Great Bed and Breakfast!

Home is beautiful. Staff is very friendly. Gus is great! Would highly recommend and will definitely call next time I’m in the area.

The owners Bill and Lucy take a great deal of pride in their B&B, and it shows. I'm not usually a B&B person, but this is the second visit ad both have been outstanding. Breakfasts are first class, as are the accommodations. Whan in the area, you'd be foolish to stay anywhere else.

Perfect spot to stay!

Fantastic stay - accommodations were wonderful. Plenty of space to work and rest. Hosts were so nice. Breakfast was delicious and you can’t stay here without mentioning GUS the wonder dog. I won’t hesitate to stay here again when I’m back in town. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality Bill and Lucy!!

Amazing house and grounds! I inspect houses for a living and this place looks better than new. Absolutely impeccable - not a speck of dust or any dirt could be found. Very comfortable bed and nice furniture. Extremely quiet and peaceful surroundings, wonderful hosts who are also good cooks. You will be happy you stayed here.

Lovely place to stay, terrific hosts, close to where I needed to be. I chose it for its location and had only an overnight to spend there. Too bad for me. Beautiful house, room, grounds. Highly recommend.

A Home Away From Home

Our stay at Villa Cathedral was a wonderful stay. From the warm welcome by the owner to the most adoring dog, Gus. Beautiful serene property and goes beyond a regular hotel stay at this property. They really make you feel welcome and the breakfast is wonderful and a big spread. Lucy and Bill do it with their heart. If anyone wants a place to come relax and enjoy place to relax, enjoy and feel at home this is definitely the place.

We stayed at the Villa Cathedral Bed and Breakfast while we were in the area for an SCCA Supertour event this April. We were looking for a quiet place to stay after our long days of working the races. Did not disappoint. The house is beautiful and the location was serene. The beds were super comfortable—the best rest I’ve had during a track weekend ever! Hot coffee and breakfasts made to order was most welcome. Very convenient to the track and the excellent dining opportunities in Milton (you can’t go wrong with any of them). Lucy, Bob, and Gus were excellent and attentive hosts! We hope to be staying here again next year!

An historic property that has been added onto and modernized. Beautiful, quiet with wonderful hosts Bill and Lucy along with Gus their dog who always greeted us. Bill prepared wonderful breakfasts for us. Very convenient to what we came to the area for. Would most definitely stay here again.

We appreciated the warm welcome, the yummy breakfast, and the comfortable room. After a long day at VIR, we were relieved to not have to drive far to find a cozy place to stay and relax. Lovely grounds and porch area, too.

I want to give them a bad review so we can have the place all to ourselves. It was our first time staying and a B&B and they set the bar high. We stayed there for the Blur Ridge Rock Festival and it was the perfect place to rest our heads and relax while we were there. The breakfasts were fantastic, the beds were comfy, the rooms were clean, the company was great! I love Gus, their Customer Service Specialist (AKA Stud Muffin Dog). As long as I go to the BRRF I will be staying here, they do a great job making us feel comfortable and the property was beautiful!
