Beautiful and worth it!!!

This property was just perfect all the way around! We felt so comfortable and happy that we had to book an extra night here. The only complaint is the smell from the water it doesn’t stick to your skin or hair when you shower but it’s noticeable when doing dishes but nothing to worry over. Very clear communication with our hosts and the lake below was amazing to visit and swim in!! I will definitely be booking in the future!

Beautiful home! Sits on a steep hill & is off the beaten path. Nice views but is not close to the lake. Plenty of space inside & out. Highly recommend. Just be prepared for the 10 minute drive to the main road.

Tennessee Vacation

It was a very beautiful cabin and beautiful views and peaceful. We had a great time as this was our first time visiting. I do plan to visit again in the future. The only thing I would change is it would be nice if there was a way to walk down to the lake from the property to go swim, kayak and fish instead of having to drive to the lake.

Nice Cabin on top of the mountain

This cabin is on the lake but the lake is not visible, there is a lake but it’s about a 1200 ft drop to it. The GPS took us the way to the cabin but there is also a detour that was very confusing and added an extra 15 minutes to the drive, the driveway to the cabin is insanely steep, we had to go into 4wheel drive to get to the the cabin in a GMC 3500 truck. All and all the cabin is as pictured but do not expect any lake to look at as it is literally on the top of the mountain. It was neat to be above the clouds in the morning but I was watchful for airplanes!

Peaceful and secluded

I was very impressed with our stay at this cabin. It was beautiful! We did have one issue with the fireplace not coming on. We called about it and they were not able to come that 1st night but they sent someone out to fix it the next day. The ONLY other complaints i would have would be the drive way where the gravel meets the pavememt needs to be filled because it was very rough on my car and the smell of the water was horrible but im sure that is not something that cannot be helped. Other than that, we had no complaints at all and i will definitely stay there again.

All good til last day

Very nice cabin, could use a few things in the kitchen but my family member staying in upstairs bedroom kept waking the next day itching and we didn’t know why til our last night, she woke up at 5 am feeling a bite and found bugs under bedding and around mattress. Needless to say we packed up and left quickly.

Lovely!

The house and lake are beautiful, and we had a terrific time. A couple of small suggestions -- just a few more cooking items, such as a larger pot for pasta and a colander, and a baking sheet. Also, the dishwasher instructions are not intuitive, so maybe some written instructions. I didn't figure it out until the day we left. Thanks for a great stay!

Awesome location

We enjoyed the views from front porch. The house was clean and all the essentials were there. Beds were comfortable, even the sofa bed. Beautiful house and furnished perfectly. Would definitely stay again.

Mountain getaway

Overall the house was very clean and put together. There was limited seating in the living room, so it made it difficult for everyone to enjoy hanging out together. There was a strong sewage odor coming from the water pipes. At times it was unbearable and did not make cooking or bathing enjoyable due to the odor. The pull out sleeper sofa was not able to be used due to previous guest breaking in. In the downstairs bathroom, there was a leak from the upstairs tub. All of this maintenance attempted to fix. However, I believe most will be replacing objects or major repairs on the plumbing. The maintenance person was very nice. We were told by the maintenance person to not go outside during breakfast or dinner time, as there are alot of bears. If you are looking for a great view though, this is certainly your place. You can view the mountains and the lake from the screend porch.

Pleasant and cleanliness

Very comfortable and nice house. Enjoyed the house warming and outside experience. The VRBO reps are very helpful and on call at all times to help with any issues or Questions. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Very quite and nice views

The big problem is the water system. The water stinks a lot, that makes the stays very bad!!! Some furniture in not good condition. The laundry machine never worked. And the worse thing was that we got tick’s bites that we found in the couch. The couch need to be change as soon as possible. I got bites every where and we killed a couple big tick’s that we found. My arms and back development a very bad rash and I probably will need to go to the doctor because is getting worse. The cabin was looking clean inside but not outside
