"Had a nice stay for our anniversary. Good suggestions for local walks. Wine and food was nice. It was a little disappointing that they did not do anything to mark our 10 year wedding anniversary and we had put a note on our booking. Drinks are quite expensive £6.50 for a pint/£10 for prosseco glass"

"The room was a reasonable size with a king size bed and a small en suite. However, we found a large stain (possibly blood) on the corner of the mattress topper. We also found one of the windows couldn't be open due to it having parcel tape stuck over window and frame. This looked messy and botched. It was a cold room and when we went to turn the radiators on they were filthy with dust and debris in the grills!! "Overall an OK stay but not worth the price tag. Visited at half term, hotel appeared under prepared. All staff were helpful and polite but clearly under staffed so not necessarily their fault. Room not ready 2 hours after check-in, walkways not maintained, dirty glasses and plates with food on outside a lot of rooms. 1 bath robe in the room for 3 guests, toilet in the room didn't flush and whole bathroom in need of basic repairs. Bar/restaurant stopped taking food orders at 7:20pm in school...

"Gorgeous looking hotel. Already lovely but excited to see it when their plans to gain a 4th star come to fruition. My only qualms are rather thin walls to the next bathroom (you can hear the next rooms shower power unit) and the ventilation (weather was low 20s but room got full sun and with no air con it was very hot, even with windows fully open). Otherwise, tasteful decor, a really nice restaurant with super food and a beautiful location."

"Excelente ubicación a pasos de la central de trenes"
