"These lodges are all about the view! You just can't beat the view. Our first night there we saw otters. There are tons of song birds. The lidge had everything we needed and there was plenty of space for my family of 3. Everyone is quiet and respectful. Lodge 7 is the second to last lodge away from the hotel and the provacy was impeccably. My only complaint...I had to sleep on the couch because the mattress was hard as a rock. It felt like sleeping on a box spring with 0 cushion of flexibility...

"Melfort Village is terrific. Beautiful setting and marvellous accommodation. There is a pool, tennis court, putting green, restaurant /bar (great food)and lots of space. The staff are great, enthusiastic and helpful.Walks in the nearby hills or to the lochs. The Village is well placed for access to the magnificent nearby scenery (but do not follow the receptionist recommendation as to how to get to the falls - the road is a nightmare and there is a longer but better way!). "Very nice property. Beds were nice. Hosts had milk and coffee pods which was very nice. We stayed here to access Oban and the ferry to the Isle of Mull. We ate at the Taynuilt Inn the first night which was very good and close. They have done a nice job in this renovation. Bathroom was wellDone with a nice shower. "
