The host was fine stepped up when we needed things ,amenities fine .Kitchen is very dated ,dirty dishes in dishwasher, coffee pot adapter for kcups not available,bathroom cabinet and drawers need cleaning. Shower with bathtub needs a nonslip mat even a small grab bar .The towels old facecloths stained.8 clothes hangers jammed on side of dryer full of vent lint . I cleaned it because I needed the hangers! The only extra blanket had rips and tears in it probably a dog blanket? I’m sure it was a wrong choice of his several properties definitely not worth the money I paid ! All window sills in dining area dead bugs I cleaned them .Way over priced for low end property. Everything in the house was dated.

Communication with the host was excellent,The house was perfect for our Thanksgiving stay with a very open spacious feel to it. The surrounding area was perfect for family entertainment such as throwing the football, croquet, frisbee and horseshoes. The fire pit at night and the Vista of the lake was outstanding! Jeri, The host and his other guests made us feel welcome. I would highly recommend this property to anybody who wants to get away from it all.

We so enjoyed this peaceful slice of heaven. Jeri was an amazing host. Great communication. We needed a time of peace and quiet and we definitely found it in our stay. The view of the lake, the towering trees, and the wildlife we saw daily was wonderful.

My family had such a good time at the lake house that we were not ready to leave. We live locally and wanted a staycation before school starts. We were hoping for a house that sits right on a lake, in a quiet neighborhood, with a great view. That’s exactly what we got. This location is so convenient to all that Frisco has to offer but far enough away to feel like you’re in a rural area. Our family enjoyed the nearby beach in Little Elm and there are plenty of water toys to enjoy right on the property. We will be back.

My wife and I were looking for a quiet getaway in The Colony and surrounding area and this location fit our bill!! The price was reasonable and the location perfect. We also had our 2 fur babies with us which meant we needed a pet friendly location. It was perfect for a couples getaway and could have worked for having our son with us also. The beautiful glass windows gave us an amazing view for sunsets and watching ducks and geese on the water. We loved the back patio which was under the shade of a tree. Jerry and Geri were very responsive to any requests. On this trip, we did not take advantage of the free kayaks and paddle boards and will look forward to doing so during a future visit. I would highly recommend this location if you are looking for a getaway for 2 or a family outing on the lake. Thanks Jerry and Geri.

Great stay

The waterfront home was very nice with beautiful views of the lake, spacious yard, access to the boat dock. The house was clean and location was convenient in proximity to restaurants, shopping, lake activities, etc. Jeri responded promptly to messages and was very accommodating. Thank you.

Good getaway

Lovely view of lake and located in a very quiet neighborhood. Not far from many good restaurants and entertainment. Beds are super comfy! We had a plumbing issue on the last day and the owners responded immediately.

Nice Getaway

Great lakeside stay in the Dallas area

This home a great place for friends or families to stay in the Dallas area, directly on Lewisville Lake. It's quiet with a nice view of the lake. The host was friendly and responsive. The house was clean and functional. We found a couple of minor issues and the host offered to fix them during our stay, but it wasn't convenient for us to do so at that time. Main thing, you may want to bring your own ice as the icemaker was broken and there weren't any ice trays. That was a minor inconvenience to an otherwise great stay.

Just book it!! Your family will love it!

I can literally say nothing negative about this property! The house is wonderful, the location is fantastic, the neighborhood is SAFE and the activities are endless. We traveled with three children 6 and under and had everything we needed at the location and within a 5 minute drive. The owner and his wife are FANTASTIC PEOPLE with loving and giving hearts. They will make sure your family is safe, knowledgeable of the area and nearby activities, and enjoying every minute of your stay. These people literally saved my family! Just book it! You won't be disappointed!

Great Place to Unwind

Jerry was great and made the process easy from start to finish. Property and house was very clean and had everthing we needed for a nice 3 day get-away. Kids had a great time as there was lots to do around the area and around the lake (i.e. kayaking, fishing, swimming off dock, etc.). It was an added bonus to be able to bring our dog as he enjoyed it every bit as much as we did.

The Best Lake Life

What a wonderful cottage on lakefront! It is located on a cove with little traffic but lots of lake. Just around the corner is the Marina. Great for kayaking, paddle boards, swimming and fishing. A dock is available for your boat too! The cottage itself is super clean, cute and well appointed. It has everything you need to enjoy the best lake life.
