"I booked this place knowing little other than it was close enough to Cardiff for us to stay after the Bruce Springsteen concert. It was very well appointed, with a well equipped kitchen / dining room, spacious wet room, large bedroom and lounge with a sofa bed. And a hot tub in the communal garden area! "We had a fantastic time in this cottage. The sheep and chickens are walking freely around the cottage, but can't access the garden/cottage through the gate. This makes it perfect for small children and pets as well, because they can't just run into the low-traffic street. Everything needed was provided, even bed linen, towels, some cleaning supplies etc. Wifi was fully operational and stable (important for the children) and Netflix, Youtube and Twitch could be connected to the smart-tv....

"We enjoyed staying at Bank House it was so peaceful. Listening to the birds whilst enjoying the views wonderful. Lots of places to sit in the garden. Only thing missing were a couple of recliner chairs to collapse into to relax, snooze, after a long day walking. We were lucky with the weather too so all good. The house was well equipped with information and how everything worked etc. contact with host very good. Garden fine for dogs. The area is absolutely beautiful and we hope to come again."

"If we could give this more than 5 stars we would. The hosts met us with welcoming smiles and showed us all we needed to know about the cottage. "The property owners were great and made sure our arrival was welcoming with great info and welcome pack. The property is a unique original cottage with hone comforts and incredible view. "We have been meeting up with our longtime friends and our families for many a year in different places. Lodge barn suited us perfectly. Different sections of the house for those with children and those without who didn’t want to get up so early. Being able to all sit around a big squarish table was so much more sociable than the long tables that are the usual. There was plenty of space onsite and the surrounding area beautiful and good for walks. A very enjoyable stay."

The only slight negative was that the room was a little too warm with the temperature sensor set to the lowest setting. The spa was brilliant, we used the gym, sauna steamer and pool and all were clean and well looked after. It’s a hell yeah from us!!"
