"We had a terrific stay at Lameshur Cottages. The location is perfect for visiting the south side beaches and enjoying the beauty of St. John away from crowds. We stayed n one of the container units which was very comfortable with great AC. The property is charming, and the common area kitchen is very well-equipped with everything you need to cook—stove, grill, microwave, coffee maker, pots and pans, etc. Bill was extremely helpful with information about snorkeling and restaurants. "I somehow missed the part that the toilet was about 50 yards away from the container.I also missed the part that it was a “peekaboo shower“ in the outdoor kitchen area (40 yards away), with a view of the owners front porchBeing retired military, with several overseas visits, that was not a problem for me.My wife was a little bit more delicate and refused to use the shower "

"Great value and service from host Vacation Candy. Most of the employees were very gracious, especially our man Neil who was always on the spot when we needed him. The couple who were'nt so great were really rude and aggressive, one security gate woman and a really rude golf cart driver who seemed to try and throw us out of the golf cart! Our unit was very nice except when the rain came in and flooded the primary closet in the bedroom, but on the bright side the maintenance men were delightful....
