"On arrival, the staff were really helpful and polite. Parking was conveniently situated across the road from the hotel. The room and bathroom had a cosy feel with lots of character and was nice and clean. The beautiful sitting room was a lovely space to relax. We ate in the bar area and the food was very good, as was breakfast the next morning. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again."

"We *loved* its location -- right on The Quay, its historic importance, and the comradery of the staff and guests in its downstairs pub over the water. Also, no other Americans."
