This house is a charming historic cottage that was remodeled very attractively. It is cuter in person! We had an initial hiccup on check in, but Ed was very friendly and supportive, along with having the issue addressed quickly. The location is perfect, just a 10 minute walk off the main strip of Main Street. We loved the comfy couch, the spacious kitchen, and the 3 bedrooms. Beds were very comfortable and the house was well stocked with supplies and utensils. I look forward to staying here again in the future.

The master bedroom stayed chillier than rest of house. Hot water heater was noisy when you used hot water. It was clean and comfortable. Location was nice, could walk to town.

The house was absolutely perfect! Everything was spotless, beautifully remodeled, and incredibly comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed, which made our stay even easier. The location was great and convenient to everything we wanted to do. We couldn’t have asked for a better place—highly recommend!

We had a great stay in Cottonwood. Our rental was clean, very well furnished, cozy, quiet and close to shops and restaurants. The beds were so comfy. Sandy and Ed did a great job of providing everything we needed to make our girls’ trip a success. Highly recommend!

The home was clean, cosy and comfortable. It had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. It had the look and warmth of a cottage but with ample space for the 5 of us. The keypad access was very easy. We had a fun time and I would highly recommend renting this cottage.

The home is historic, but nicely updated inside! Plenty of room for ud to stretch out. The patio was delightful for morning coffee and would be nice for the evening, as well. There is a coffee pot and a coffee grinder (!!), for those who like to grind their coffee fresh (bonus for us coffee affiacianados). Within walking distance to many good restaurants. The host was very responsive to all my requests and messaged us during our stay to see if we needed anything. Would definitely stay here again!

Super quiet and excellent location

What I enjoyed most about my stay at this property was the very quiet neighborhood and the excellent location. Old Town Cottonwood and all the great restaurants, wine bars, shops and more is just a 5 minute walk from the cottage, and Jerome and Clarkdale (must try Violette's croissants) are 5-10 minute drives. I also appreciated being able to take daily walks at Dead Horse State Park (5 min from cottage) and Red Rock State Park (20 min). Cottage was immaculately clean and very well equipped which were additional pluses.

Great!

Would definitely stay here again! Wonderful location in a safe, quiet neighborhood and just a quick drive to anywhere you want to be in the cottonwood/sedona area. I hope they get a new mattress for the queen bed in the second bedroom — it’s really uncomfortable and sinks in. Otherwise everything was great with helpful, responsive hosts!

Amazing House!

Long time college friends having a little get away. We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home! We were only here a few days but this was a great home base to do some exploring in the area and we absolutely LOVE the house! Lovely front porch, beautiful roses, quiet neighborhood yet close to everything. You will not be disappointed by staying here!!

Comfortable and convenient!

Very cute and comfortable property. Three sisters and one small dog were at home here. If we'd had warmer weather, the front porch would have been an ideal spot to sit, as it is nicely furnished. We had everything we needed for the wedding weekend visit to Cottonwood and Jerome. We are picky travelers, so will send a note to the owners about some small items we noticed that would have made the stay even better. All in the "nice to have" category. I'm happy we found this location and would book it again if in the area.

Quick Getaway

We were doing a quick getaway for a night to get out of the hustle and bustle of Phoenix, with friends. The cottage was just perfect! All of the comforts of home, well equipped, in a great location to walk in to downtown Cottonwood! It’s definitely a little hidden gem! We will be back next time in the Verde Valley!

Travel with Family Arizona

My brother-in-law, my wife and I traveled from Las Vegas (his home) to Cottonwood so we could spend some time in the Sedona area. The Historic Stone Cottage was perfect for us. We appreciated the extras like water and sparkling water in the fridge, and snacks on the kitchen counter. The cottage was immaculate and well decorated. This was our first Vrbo experience, and it will encourage us to try many more.

A home away from home

Loved our stay in the cottage. Ed was super responsive and friendly. Cottage is located within walking distance to old downtown with great restaurants and shops. Also close to other sites and amenities. Take some time to look up at the stars at night if you visit.

Cottonwood stay

We enjoyed the quaint little cottage, that was located a few walking blocks from downtown Cottonwood. The check-in process was very easy. The home was very charming and looked just like the pictures. The house was much bigger than it looked on the outside. There was everything that we needed, extra paper products, coffeepot, etc. We enjoyed the beautiful weather sitting outside on the front porch. The owners had great recommendations on where to eat around town and things to do. We were very pleased with our stay and would come back again!
