"If you plan to visit Oriental, you must stay at Magnolia House Bed and Breakfast! The innkeepers are so friendly and accommodating. They greeted me as I arrived and took me on a tour of the house explaining the available amenities. The house has a wrap around porch, perfect for relaxing in the evening (I stayed in August and was surprised by the mild evening temperature). I had to leave early morning and typically do not eat breakfast so they had breakfast bars and fruit available for me to grab...

"My wife and I had a very pleasant stay. For us it was a last-minute getaway. The price was very reasonable. The property was well kept. The innkeepers were very welcoming and helpful but not intrusive. The breakfasts were very good. The location is about ten minutes away from the beach at Nags Head. The steps are quite steep but as mentioned elsewhere quite typical of the time period the home was built in early 1900's. I'm 73 and had no problem with carrying suitcases up the stairs. But if you...
