"Amazing spot! Simple, quiet, with a sprinkle of local lobster boats humming by. Perfect weather highlighted the sky, the water and the sunsets. I put away the phone (unreliable internet) opened up a good book, visited the nearby sand beach for a cold plunge, and took in some local theater. This place is a gift for the soul. "

"A beautiful cabin surrounded in rich, forest with hiking trails. The property located is tucked away, which makes you feel secluded. Its an amazing and calm experience. The other campers were kind and said hello, when passing by. Fresh food markets nearby. Great nearby cities for more exploration. This was the best and safest experience in a cabin. The maintenance and upkeep is noticeable and I felt special staying in this cabin. This was an epic time away from home. Thank you. "

"This cozy cottage is in the beautiful town of Phippsburg, next to the break-taking beach of Popham State Park. With its site on the ocean shore, the sound of waves soothes your soul, and the beach lends all kinds of opportunities for exploring both at low tide and high tide. Our host and hostess were very responsive to our needs, and my daughter and I greatly enjoyed out stay."

"As advertised, except for the "walking distance to downtown." It's over a mile, no sidewalks, very hilly bendy road, difficult for cars and the plethora of work trucks to see you. We had some elderly folks planning to stroll into town, but that was a hard no. Maybe ok if you're young and active, but certainly don't plan on safely walking home at night. Otherwise, a pleasant old place. "

"This was the perfect place to stay for a family wedding weekend. Loved sitting on the deck with my morning coffee looking out over the harbor. Very quite neighborhood. Located a couple minutes from downtown Rockland, Owls Head Transportation just down the street along with the State Park. Wedding venue was 3 miles away in South Thomaston. It was exactly as described, comfy, cozy and allowed pets. Fenced in yard for the dog was a huge plus. Hosts were great. Would definitely stay here again!"

It was the perfect respite for our stay before our puffin tour the next day and close to town for a concert on the common and restaurants. Note : to access one of the bedrooms you need to go through the bathroom, but it worked out fine. "Pasamos una noche de Camino a Bar Harbour. La habitación es amplia con camas cómodas y firmes. Amenities en el baño. El desayuno es correcto con fruta, lácteos, cereales y salchichas. El parking es gratuito y si have bueno encienden el fuego en el jardín para hacer s'mores. Muy amables"
