We're a family of 4, so we always look for nice and cozy properties that aren't too far from local attractions and offer some entertainment for the evenings. We definitely liked the location of this cabin and enjoyed the beautiful view every day. The jacuzzi was a bit too hot but we adjusted it to our liking. We also used the fire pit next to it and looked for shooting stars in the night sky. The kitchen was nicely equipped with everything needed though we always pack some extra oil, spices and other things (like my favorite cutting board) just in case. We took granny with us this time so there was plenty of room for all of us. Everything in the house was great- we loved the contrast between the first and second story of the house- our daughter enjoyed the big chair downstairs. The only things that stood out were the steep driveway - it's definitely not for lower cars, vans and even some suv's, and the cleanliness to an extent- there were lots of spiderwebs everywhere, the outside of the house wasn't cleaned, we weren't able to use the barbecue at all (we think it needs to be replaced at this point) and the plants around the house hadn't been watered for a long time, if that matters to anyone. Overall, we were happy with our stay, but we felt being a bit pushed to leave on time. Would recommend staying there for a long weekend or a family vacation.
