We felt Cortez would be an excellent location to visit some of the National parks and this home was perfect, The kitchen was spacious and everything for meal preparation was at hand. "Very comfortable country setting with no visible neighbors and beautiful views from tree shaded patio. Perfect for day trips to Mesa Verde, Telluride and Durango. But we also enjoyed a lot more locally than we expected including Sand River hiking area with cliff dwellings, Sutcliffe vineyards and others. Best of all, great yard for the dog!! "

"A wonderful peaceful place just a bit outside of town. Beautiful night skies in the country. We loved sitting on the patio in the mornings to listen to and identify many many birds! Our host Kelly was extremely helpful with whatever our needs were. She is very kind and thoughtful! When she learned we would be late she offered to go turn on some lights and the cooler so it wouldn’t be so hot. We would certainly stay here again and reccomend it to anyone!"

"We absolutely loved our stay here! The house is big, beautiful, super clean, and has so many nice little extras—yoga mats, books, hiking, and tons of natural light. It honestly has everything you’d ever need in a home (and then some!). Such a comfortable and welcoming place, we’d definitely stay again. It is a bit of trip from town, but that is part of its charm as you can view the Canyons of the Ancients National Monument from the backyard! "

"The place has been remodeled, so you don’t find old carpet. They have laminate floors that help the room feel clean. The retro decor is super fun. Bed and pillows were very comfortable, the central garden and pet area are perfect to take a walk around and enjoy some fresh air. This place is perfect if you are in the area. Breakfast is very basique and still appreciated! The place is clean, comfortable and cute! Very easy to find! "
