Our second stay and it was as great as the first. We chose the home because of the fenced in backyard for our two dogs, but we came back because it’s the perfect spot to truly unwind and relax. You’re walking distance to the birding center and you can watch boats move through the port from the front deck. Less than 5-minute drive to the beach or to fish at the port.Port Aransas restaurants and stores all stay open despite the New Year’s holiday, so we enjoyed some great meals and lots of great beach walks. If you’re looking at this home, book it now! Every time we tried to come back over the last several years, it’s been booked, because it’s fantastic!

Best Texas hospitality ever. Cleanliness top notch, spacious, loved the King beds in the two bedrooms. Communication with host top notch, quick response with any questions we had. First time in Port A and now we are spoiled!!!! Deborah is a fantastic host and gets back to you quickly she also sends you a very helpful list of how to prepare and things to do on your visit. The house is beautiful and has everything you need and more. we had a very short drive to the beach but it’s also convenient to local shops, restaurants, and a little grocery store. I think the only thing i would changes is that we would have been able to stay longer. None of us were ready to go and all of us want to go back already!!!!! We are already looking forward to the next trip with a longer stay!

Time flies…

Very nice, throughly enjoyed our stay. Had the feel of staying at a friend’s house. Information and communication with Debbie was helpful and appreciated with tips and suggestions for our stay. We’ve been spending a week at the coast every summer for decades and this was one of our best.

Amazing house with great amenities! Great location, large yard for the dogs, and tons of space for our family of five! The house was in PERFECT condition! We will be back again! The only thing all five of us said is that the photos online do not show how amazing this place really is! You will LOVE it!

Fantastic Place to Stay in Port A

As return guests to 12 Palms, we had high expectations the experience would be as wonderful as last year. We were not disappointed. The home was immaculate and had all the comforts of home. Our hostess, Deborah, provided excellent suggestions to get the most out of Port A both prior to our stay as well as weekend event updates. We took advantage of the Red Dragon Pirate ship and then travelled over to see the Lexington Air Craft Carrier. Deborah was very gracious, thoughtful and helpful. We are already looking forward to our next trip to Port A and hope we will be able to stay at 12 Palms again.

Wonderful home, and the host is super helpful! It is very comfortable for a family and pets. Well stocked kitchen and so many household amenities we enjoyed and did not expect! We loved the location too. The fun places for food, music and shopping are a very short golf cart ride away. The awesome community pool is right up the road, and was a welcome break day from the beach! The street the house is on is quiet and friendly. Would highly recommend!! Thank you, Deborah, for being so kind and resourceful! We loved Twelve Palms!!

Great place with many added touches

This was a really nice place to stay. I liked all the little touches plenty of dish towels, regular towels, dog bowls. I loved having the backyard to let the dogs out. It was fantastic. Recommend this for any anyone who has a pets they want to take to the beach. And it was just walking distance to the birding center, which is something I’ve been wanting to see.

Great property, enjoyed our stay!

Very comfortable, kitchen has everything you could need, nice quiet neighborhood. Great place for you dog with a fenced in backyard and gates on the decks to keep them safe. Would for sure stay here again.

Best Location

We love staying here! It is within walking distance to the Birding Center and the community pool. The yard is very secure for the doggies, and they love playing there. The kitchen is STOCKED! The furniture is so comfortable as is the bed! It is my favorite place in Port A!

12 Palms Visit

This is a great property, particularly if you are into ship spotting on the Corpus Christi Ship Channel (like us) or birding. Hurricanes are bad things, but a recent one in Florida blew a Pink Flamingo all the way to the Port Aransas Birding Center!

Best Vacation Ever

Love, love staying here! This house was everything we expected and more. Clean, comfortable, very well stocked with everything you might need for a great stay and the location is great! Perfect Escape

We were very impressed from the moment we opened the door. Great accommodations and exactly as pictured on the site! We had plenty of room to be together and plenty of room to be apart as well. It was the perfect escape from work for our family. We went to the beach, the birding refuge, shopping and traveled to see the USS Lexington! Plenty to do and see! Great place to stay on vacation!
