It was a perfect place for a couple. The stairs were the only thing we didn't like about the place. It needs better handrails. Otherwise, everything we needed was there and we enjoyed our week!

The layout of these condos is so perfect for our little family. Perfect location, easily accessible to the beach and town. Loved this one in particular because it has larger bunks and a larger secondary deck area. Will definitely stay again

Was a good stay, the listing listed it was fully furnished and it was not, we only had 1 towel per person (not enough for the week or all day) 1 roll of toliet paper for the week, 1 small bottle of shampoo. I had to go buy everything when i wasnt exspecting to

Covered it all

A comfortable stay with everything you need. Well maintained and clean. Enjoyed the decor. Wish the weather wasn’t so cold but the heater worked well. It would be great for a family as it had queen bunkbeds.

Perfect beach retreat

Stayed 3 days and wished it had been longer. It’s a perfect place to stay while Port A. Close to the beach, close to restaurants and bars. Clean, nice and everything you could want for your stay. Highly recommend!

Really good stay with minor annoyances

The overall property location and layout was great. The host is very responsive. Most things were in good order however there were a few items that were very annoying. The one bathroom sink was clogged and has been clogged for awhile meaning the host has not maintaining it. There was chocolate or something smeared on the master bedroom door which made me question cleaning. And last the Roku TVs all were locked down so we couldn’t add Disney Plus, Max, etc..to them and watch. When I messaged the host they sent me the wrong unlock codes twice and then just told me to call a corporate number that absolutely could not help. Everything else was pretty good - not amazing but adequate.

Great stay and wonderful beach bungelow property, but some improvements could be made.

If 4.5 stars was an option, I'd select that. The bungalow is beautiful, very clean and the A/C worked wonderfully. The community pools were exceptionally clean and there's one that's only 2ft deep (perfect for younger children learning to swim). Check in was easy and we received the address and door code while in the airport awaiting our rental car for the drive to Port. A. Just a couple things that would have made this experience 5-star worthy: 1) I did message the property managers and asked a couple questions probably a month before our stay and never received a reply. 2) It should be noted that the grill is a charcoal grill. It looks like a gas grill and that's what I expected when I arrived because there is no specific info. 3) The kitchen is nicely equipped; however, simple things like a stick lighter for the grill were not available and I had to purchase one. Not a big deal at all, but if the unit is properly equipped and a grill is available, there should be a lighter. 4) No tuperware. I found out on the 3rd night that there were some ceramic bowls with lids for food storage but it's not enough. We cooked 90% of our meals and some additional food storage containers would've been nice. Again, small things, but I hope the property managers see this. Wonderful property, wonderful stay.

This is a great place to stay. Close to the beach and stores. Nice and clean. This was our second time to visit Port Aransas and we always have a great time. Love the cute bungalow and decorations.

Fun hub

Great location for access to everything you need. A stones throw from the beach, plenty of convenient stores, and a grocery store down the road. The cabana was comfortable and clean with covered parking and outdoor seating. We had a great time.

Perfect beach getaway!

Sweet home la cabana was the perfect beach getaway! It had a cute beachy feel. The king bed was so comfortable and the full bunk beds were great! The couch also pulls out into a queen size bed. The unit is the last one, farthest away from the pool, which we liked. It was exactly like the pictures and sooo close to the beach entrance.

Enjoyable stay!

Being a family with young kids, this place provided what we needed and expected. This listing is true to its description. Serves well as a home base for beach and town fun. While it is not beach front with beach views, the Port A style seems to be everyone drives their car to beach anyway, so we mainly used the property for sleeping and naps conveniently. Also, was great to have the outdoor shower on the lower level patio for rinsing off before we got inside. Overall, great stay!

Good value

Clean and comfortable, good kitchen (well equipped). House is on a quiet street (our visit was late April) with two facing rows of identical houses (different pastel colors of course) where it looks like several owners actually live there, the rest being vacation homes/rentals. I liked being able to park the car under the house. Very short drive or 5 minute walk to the beach. All appliances look new and are in good working order. We didn't use their grill. Excellent communications and service from Sandkey Rentals, the property manager. Would definitely recommend for a couple or small family.

We had the best time

We had a great trip to Port A during Sand Fest. The house was exactly as described and possibly even better. We rented a golf cart and there was ample parking for it in the driveway and it made everything more fun and convenient. We’ll be back!
