Excellent location and walking distance to the beach. Very quiet street with very little traffic. Pet friendly. Bed was very comfortable although the ceiling fan was a bit noisy. We definitely would like to stay here again.

I love this property. It was awesome and met most of my families needs. I would only suggest, bring extra blankets, pillows and towels cause the house did not provide any extras. Also, there are only two TVs in the house—living room and kids room. I kind of wish they had one in master room so my grandkids could watch tv. I love the game room in garage and extra chairs to use at the beach. By far one of the best rentals I have had at Port A. The pool was nice too so and kids enjoyed fishing in the ponds nearby.

We were not impressed with this Home. The first thing that happened as we walked in the house was we killed a roach which I can deal with, but overall the house seemed grimy and dirty. The Keurig coffee maker is also broken, and I feel confident that this was known, but not told to us prior to our renting. We also found numerous dirty dishes in the cabinets that have been put away that way, and lots of staining and spills on the walls that had not been cleaned.

Cute Beach Getaway

We absolutely loved our stay and the convenience of getting to and from the beach. Great price and just a couple of neighborhoods away from Cinnamon Shores. This house was very comfortable and our kids LOVED the access to the garage with foosball and Ping-Pong. The only recommendation is to bring your own beach towels, we couldn't find any on site. Otherwise this rental had absolutely everything. We are already starting to plan our next trip to this house.

Clean and nice property

My family and my parents stayed here. The unit was perfect for all of us. We loved that 2 bedrooms were on the main floor. Kitchen was well stocked. This was one of the cleanest Vrbo I’ve ever stayed in. The only complaints we had was the smoke alarm at the top of the stairs on the second floor would go off sometimes usually in the middle of the night and set the others off waking the whole house. The backyard is not fenced if bringing pets. The neighborhood was very noisy at all hours of the evening but it was spring break.

We love this place for our annual beach/fishing trip! Perfect for our family of 5 plus grandparents. Able to bring the boat/truck plus another vehicle without issue. Can’t wait to come back next year

Comfortable stay for family of 6 and a dog

We had a great time at "Our Happy Place" in Port A this past weekend. We decided on a last minute trip to the beach and the beach house didn't disappoint! The kitchen was well appointed, beds for everyone (and then some - a nice change!), a nice patio and a great Rec room in the garage that the kids enjoyed a lot. It is a relatively easy walk to the beach (up some hills, so beware or rent a golf cart) and very minimal traffic to be concerned with. The community was tidy and nice looking. We felt safe our entire trip - aside from the mosquitos, but the city is definitely working on that daily during the season. Just bring bug spray and they'll leave you alone. Would definitely consider visiting again and even bringing along some extended family! Pro tip - while a golf cart isn't totally necessary, it would have made the trip more enjoyable. We had a beach cart which was a must for our family with 4 younger kids and all the stuff. We decided when we return (hopefully this time next year!) we'll definitely rent a golf cart for a smoother time for the littles.

Great place!

We had a great time staying at “Our Happy Place.” We were within walking distance to the beach and only a few minute drive from everything we needed. The front door doesn’t shut properly, though. That was a tad annoying. We think the lock gets stuck. You have to really mess with it to get it to stay shut. Also, we had a child get stung by a jellyfish and found the first aid kit almost completely empty. :( Everything else was great!

Nice House And Neighborhood

Online photos and description are accurate. Kitchen very well stocked for cooking while visiting. House was warm but AC was working. Beds were uncomfortable for multiple night stay. But overall a great place to stay!

Great vacation in Port A

everything was great. Only comments would be1) recommend installing safety bars in Master shower to give old folks something to hang onto while drying off, 2) Den TV was geat with Dish, but Master bedroom TV had no operable source (several people tried). I would suggest also installing Dish on that TV.Also, please add a night light to the Master Bedroom

Nice house and area

The location was walking distance to the beach and the house was well maintained. The neighborhood was active but not too loud. Younger adults enjoyed the game room and bbq pit area. Was hoping to check in earlier but the place had been rented the day before we got there. There was a lot of rain in the area during our stay and there was some water buildup in the back yard.

Great location, awesome neighborhood!

This was a great beach house, unfortunately for us it rained the entire time and the BBQ area was completely under water by several inches. The house was in an excellent location, close to the shops but far enough away for a quiet evening. The boardwalk to the beach is a 5 minute walk with an awesome huge boardwalk. The house in comfortable, the kitchen is a bit small but very manageable. I would rent again.
