First stay

What a lovely home for our first visit to the area. Right across from pool and back up to beautiful view of golf course. It is well stocked with what one would need while staying. From kitchen utensils, games, to beach/pool items. Definitely saved to our list of places to come visit back.

Great location!

We love staying at Palmilla! This house is walking distance to the pool and guest services. The resort is great. You have a reserved section of the beach which during the busy summer weekends is very nice.

Absolutely loved this home!

We will definitely be back! The layout of this home was perfect. Our kiddos loved the top room. There were so many fun things to do at this home and it’s incredibly convenient to the pool, beach, and fitness center. Highly recommend this home for any vacation!

We have stayed there multiple times & we will stay again. We love that it is so close to the beach & that the homes are really nice, clean & spacious. We love that there are pools, a bar & a restaurant on the property. We have rented chairs on the beach & enjoyed all the amenities. Hoping to have a better experience next time.

Great Time

We loved the townhome, location and amenities. The house was comfortable and had all we needed. The beds were very nice and the kids enjoyed the bunk beds and alone time in the game area. We played ping pong, rented a golf cart for two days and had a fun time driving around. Beach was in walking distance too. We will be back!

The home was in a perfect location for the customer service office. Right across the street from heated pool, bar and grill. Sunset and golf views off of back deck. All kitchen appliances you could ever need.

Great location, great house

We loved just about everything about this house. The location is perfect for what we needed and is great if you're flying into Mustang Beach Airport. The water heater did not work on our second day - a Sunday - but they had it working within two hours or so with a simple text from me. It was truly a great experience for us.

Sad Disappointment

This place looks nice, but owners have Never addressed any of the problems from All the previous reviews. Ceiling leaks over stove so you can Not cook without Paint and water in your food. Water Heater still broken, cold showers No bathmats for bathroom tile floors, very slippery No Wi-Fi Weak at best Missing several standard household items. Smells like Mold from the Water leaks that still leak in kitchen. Downstairs bedroom is way hotter than the rest of house. Coffee pot sucks and wont brew, then dumps all at once Power outlets in dining room and patio blow breakers constantly. *****Best to look for a house with a caring responsible owner.

Nice But Not Perfect

This house has a great location - near the pool and Guest Services, with a view of the golf course. It is well furnished and comfortable. Unfortnately, the A/C webt out on Saturday afternoon and repairs weren’t completed until 9:30pm. We paid premium rates for a holiday weekend. At this point, Vacasa hasn’t offered any type of refund. Our other issue was that the bath tubs on the first and third floors were extremely slippery. Our two year old granddaughter slipped and bumped her head. This problem could easily be solved with bath mats. If I were to rent it again, I would want to know if this has been rectifued.

Needs Mold Remediation

Absolutely beautiful & comfortable home...except for the mold issue in the kitchen. At first the home seemed spotless minus what looked like old water damage in the kitchen above the stove area, however, having asthma I was up all night coughing from a flare-up and couldn't figure out why. 2 days into our trip we noticed the ceiling in the kitchen start dripping water and opening the cabinets around the stove revealed an extensive mold issue. I immediately called Vacasa and was informed there was a prior ticket for a water leak in the kitchen, that they'd contact the property manager and I would receive a call back but never did. I mentioned it again to the Vacasa desk at checkout but am unsure if this issue will be handled appropriately. We had an amazing vacation - Pamlilla amenities are always top-notch - and our children LOVED the 3rd floor just for them, but not getting any sleep from a mold-induced asthma exacerbation made it not as great as it could have been.

Nice unit and property, management lacking

The unit was nice, very comfortable for our two families. Suggestions: 1) Would have liked to have a table out on the back porch to be able to eat outside. 2) Had a lot of trouble finding the thermostat upstairs in the bunk room the first night (it's not visible - behind a sliding barn door), so it was quite hot up there for the kids. Our biggest issue is that the hot water heater was not functioning, and we couldn't get ahold of anyone - to help us resolve it. So we had cold water all weekend. Showers, dishwashing, laundry etc. The management company didn't respond to my service request until day 3, at which point it was too late. It turned out to be a simple issue, that we would have happily resolved ourselves (e.g. look at pilot light, switch on heater, check circuit breaker) had someone gotten back to us to help us get into the locked utility room in the absence of an available service team. Vacasa refunded a portion of our trip costs in response to the inconvenience, but there are definitely some wrinkles that need to be ironed out with the management company for things to run smoother for guests paying a premium to stay at Palmilla.

Wonderful Family Getaway

The property was great for our family trip that included 5 kids. The sheets on most of the beds were still wet when we arrived, but nothing that would spoil the excitement of arriving at the beach. The property is very close to the pool and the beach access was not too far. Loved the amenities available at the resort. Lots of beach toys available in the garage (we added to the collection). The kitchen and utensils were perfect for cooking family meals. Looking forward to returning.

Great location and home

We loved this house, it was perfect for us! A few things I wish the company had made a bit easier (extra toiletpaper, a vaccuum, a code to the garage out back, etc) I am giving 4/5 solely because I don’t think Vacasa is easy to get ahold of like you can on Airbnb. I messaged them a couple of times and never heard back. But that missing star has nothing to do with the house itself, it was beautifully decorated, really nice and really clean!

Perfect place

Perfect place with a ton of room for the entire family. Top floor worked great for the kids. Great view of the golf course and easy access to the beach. Also right across from the pool!
