Port A house

The property was very clean, beds were comfortable...no hangers in closets and bench in Master 1 needs legs tightened. Overall the property was great....will stay again, hopefully when we can enjoy the pool

Amazing House

This house was perfect. The neighborhood that this house is in is very quiet. There wasn’t loud music or crazy people partying. We loved the pool in the back. We will definitely be back and rent the same place.

Overall a Great Place to Stay

Everything was great from location to cleanliness. We loved the pool. Only issue was we came in from out of town (6hrs away) and had to stay loaded down in car. We could not check until after 6pm due to house not being ready on time. Overall though a great place to stay!

Great Outdoor Space

Property is located in a quiet neighborhood on the ferry/ship channel side of the island. Outdoor area is great. Well appointed propert with plent of space. Each of the 3 bedrooms had a bathroom. Elevator was nice for our elderly parents so the did not have to be assisted using the stairs. ADA accessible invluding master shower.

Disappointed

For the price we paid everything should have been perfect. No light bulbs working for nightstands in both King bedrooms. TV would not work in Bunk Bed room. TV in two King bedrooms didn't work unless you paid for Netflicks. Husband could not watch US Open - no main networks - ABC, NBC or CBS. Broken drawers in kitchen. No hangers to hang up clothes in closets. Not enough side tables to place your drinks in the living area. Loud music and yelling behind the house at 3:00 a.m. We left two days early because we were not enjoying our visit. Wasted $4500 on a four night stay - and we only stayed two nights. Will not recommend this place.

They do not maintain the property

We choose that property because of the pool and elevator. When we arrived the elevator did not work and the pool was dirty and green and the area around had trash everywhere. Inside the windows were slightly open and when we got them closed there was a black buildup around them. Any decent cleaners should have noticed these issues and taken care of them which makes you wonder if they even clean or just change the towels and halfway make the beds. I informed the manager and then we had to take out the overflowing trash can by the pool and take the three overflowing trash bins to the curb. They did get the elevator fixed late Monday but I had to send two more messages to get them to finally contact a pool cleaner late Tuesday afternoon. We decided to leave on Wednesday morning because of all the problems and they refuse to refund for the three remaining days only will offer 2 free days for another stay and it took two texts , a message and phone call to even get that. The attached pictures are after all the large trash was picked up from the pool and area. The white stuff is what we were removing from the green pool. They claim because it was an island it took time to get someone but the pool man told us they did not even call him until Tuesday

Brownwood Visitors

We enjoyed the home and the location. We did have a slight problem with the elevator and we were unable to use it. We could never get the door open. The lights at the pool went out and we could not get them back on fortunatley itv was our last night in the home. I would have liked more dish towels to clean the surfaces. Possibly a larger crockpot for the 10 guests the home holds. The one there would not serve even the four of us.

Minication staytion

We loved the house it had it's private pool enough room for all 8 of us we didn't use the elevator because we couldn't figure it out but it was a great location the beach was 5 min away and all the shops were close the house was clean and cool in this tx heat

The house was awesome. We had a great time. For those who have a difficult with stairs like my wife and I. The elevator was extremely helpful. Looking forward to book this house again.

Awesome beach house

We loved the beach house was very comfortable quiet peaceful and beautiful. The heated pool was great the kids enjoyed it we will definitely stayed here again….there is a water park next to it and lots of stores to shop also a perfect groceries shopping ..store .. the beach was 5 minute drive which is not bad ..

Great property with potential

Overall the property was pretty good, but lacked attention to detail and service was poor. We arrived to find a very dirty pool with the pump not running (stagnant water with dead crabs in it). One of my daughter's found a pair of men's underwear in the bed covers while another daughter found long hair. The beds were obviously not cleaned and inspected. Most of the remotes did not have batteries in them. The ones that did were dead. The elevator also did not work. After calling property management twice, they finally sent the pool and elevator repair people and both were handled with good care. The property management team did not seem to care about the lack of cleanliness or lack of attention to detail. I'm sure the owners would not appreciate this. My wife also left a pair of really nice scissors in the home. This was obviously our fault, but they magically disappeared when we reached out to see about shipping them to us. it was really sad to see a nice property treated so poorly when I know the fees for this service are high. The overall visit was great, we love coming to PA but will not rent a place managed by this company (Port A beach house company).
