Just as good the second time!

Blue Crush is a great property. Great location, lower traffic and more chill than in town. We’ve stayed there twice and loved it!

Great location and plenty of space!

We loved the sunsets, the house was very spacious and well set up for children. Fenced yard was a huge plus for our dogs too.

Over all a great stay and very quiet neighborhood

We enjoyed our stay very much. Large rooms for our family of 7 and our little chihuahua Bella to choose from. Offered amenities in the kitchen if your wanting to cook at home and extra bath linens. Nice decor throughout the house. Would definitely stay again.

Blue Crush crushed it!!

The house was spot on and we enjoyed our stay tremendously!! The kitchen was awesome, we cooked in every night, bathrooms well stocked, and everything was fresh. Needless to say, we loved our stay and would stay there again!!

We love Blue Crush!

Wonderful time..loved the property! There were 7 of us ages 71 to 6 years old. Property had perfect space for us all. Loved the kitchen table..plenty of seating. The house is very bright and great natural lite. We loved both outdoor decks and everyone loved the porch swing. Will definitely stay here next time we come to Port A. Also property management was wonderful to work with! 😊

Great Summer Getaway

The house was very clean when we arrived.The kitchen was well stocked with everything that you need. The house was very cool when we arrived (which was great since it has been so hot!). The owners sent all the information we needed a day ahead of time and followed up to make sure we received it. They even sent suggestions for restaurants and different things to do in the area.

Good location and square feet but dirty

Nice house but not very clean. The AC filter was black and collapsed inside the vent due to a lack of maintenance. The AC vent had to be removed and power washed. Black stains were on the downstairs bathroom ceiling.

Top upstairs bathroom

Everything was great! Very clean and plenty of space for everyone. My only complaint was one of the upstairs bedroom bathrooms can lock you in. We had it happen twice to us while staying. My husband had to get the door open with a library card. He said it's an easy fix tho.

Summer Vacation

The house is absolutely beautiful and more than enough room for our family vacation! The kitchen table and kitchen were the best parts! Of course there is pros and cons. Cons were the couches were torn, but I emailed them pictures just to let them know they were like that when we got there. Some of the vents were moldy, all the TV’s except the living room one would not connect to the internet, and lots of mosquitoes downstairs. All in all we had the best time and the house was amazing, any questions we had they were very quick to respond. The house is very close to everything.

Disappointing

It was not clean. Sheets had marks on them, floors were sandy and dirty, the property needs a thorough cleaning and repairs. The doors were hard to close and the handle didn't work. Outside, we had to pick up 3 large bags of dog poo because apparently no one picks up after their dog and the property doesn't check. It was disgusting. The property is one block from the sewer treatment plant so smell was an issue. The pictures do not portray the shape the property is in. I was embarrassed I took my family there because I expected , at a minimum, for it to be clean.

Blue Crush

This property was very nicely decorated and had plenty of rooms for 8 adults and 3 kids. The property manager was very communicative and helpful. Upon arrival there was a staircase trim board loose. They offered to fix it but it was no big issue so we moved on. I would rate the property higher but for the price we paid I expected a better kept property. During our stay we had yellow stained sheets on several beds. The bottom bathroom door was tough to shut and there was mold on the bathroom ceiling by the vents. The kitchen pantry door was coming loose from its roller hangers and the kitchen faucet was damaged. All the hand sinks including the kitchen sink had very low water pressure. The showers had excellent pressure. The most concerning issue was there was a leak coming from the bottom of house under the porch. It kept a constant puddle of water on the driveway that was very slippery. This was separate from the AC condensate drain that drips down from the exterior soffit which is normal. We assume there is a drain line leak or water line leak in the house. There was a squeegee available downstairs so the issue must have been present for a while. Overall we enjoyed our stay outside of those issues. The AC was cold, showers were hot and overall the property was nice. With charging this much for a rental property the maintenance and cleanliness should be up to par.

Modern/upscale. Comfortable. All amenities well thought out. Great location for us, walking distance to nature preserve. In a quiet neighborhood. A nicer home.

Nice Place

A nice home that has lots of amenities and then some. Well thought out details. Walking distance to the Nature Preserve. Enjoy looking out towards the ship channel. We wish we had stayed longer. We have stayed in many places over the years in Port A…this is one of the better places.

Best Rental Ever!!

We have stayed at many rental properties, and this one topped them all! Such a seamless process from reservation to checkout. Everything was spotless, and the property was exactly as described. The decor was beautiful and beachy, and we really enjoyed just walking through the house and taking it all in! Plenty of room for our family of 8 adults, with a bedroom to spare. Communication with the hosts was fabulous. We didn’t have to ask a single question because all information was provided and laid out so well. We will DEFINITELY be back, and highly recommend this rental property!

Very spacious and beautiful four bedroom house!

We recently stayed at the Blue Crush property this past weekend with two dogs, five adults, and three kids (ages 2 - 11) and we just couldn't have been happier. The house had everything we were looking for and more. The large fenced backyard is nice for the dogs to stretch out. All rooms are very spacious and the layout is just perfect for multiple families staying together. We also took advantage of their six-seater golf cart, which is available for rental, and it made getting around even easier. Everything about this place was amazing. We organized a very small memorial service for my father-in-law in Port Aransas at the Chapel on the Dunes and invited a few family members back for food and drinks afterwards. Everyone loved how big the kitchen, breakfast area, and living room are and how convenient and big the deck is. Nicely located on the corner of two quiet streets, this house literally had everything we needed for what could have been a stressful weekend. This house made our weekend a pleasant experience and we couldn't have been happier with the outcome.
